It doesn't need to be perfect. If it's really that bad, just minimize the building with a script and add a stud that's minimized that goes around the minimized building. It's really not that hard. You're reading this as you realize it's not part of the post but instead it's my siggy.

Unless you want a texture like grass on the baseplate, then put a BlockMesh into the brick via Insert>Object>BlockMesh, and then add another brick (also with a BlockMesh) to add the extra stud.
