My opinion, based off of recent and long past production/performance. # of SB wins, all-time stats, recent stats, and also based off of standards and career predictions (as you can tell by rookie QBs). This is how I would rank the QBs.
Tier 1
1. Peyton Manning (DEN)
2. Tom Brady (NE)
3. Aaron Rodgers (GB)
4. Drew Brees (NO)
5. Eli Manning (NYG)
Tier 2
6. Ben Roethlisberger (PIT)
7. Philip Rivers (SD)
8. Matthew Stafford (DET)
9. Matt Ryan (ATL)
10. Matt Schaub (HOU)
Tier 3
11. Cam Newton (CAR)
12. Michael Vick (PHI)
13. Andy Dalton (CIN)
14. Jay Cutler (CHI)
15. Tony Romo (DAL)
Tier 4
16. Joe Flacco (BAL)
17. Andrew Luck (IND)
18. Robert Griffin III (WSH)
19. Josh Freeman (TB)
20. Sam Bradford (STL)
Tier 5
21. Ryan Fitzpatrick (BUF)
22. Carson Palmer (OAK)
23. Matt Cassel (KC)
24. Mark Sanchez (NYJ)
25. Alex Smith (SF)
Tier 6
26. Matt Flynn (SEA)
27. Matt Hasselbeck (TEN)
28. Brandon Weeden (CLE)
29. Tim Tebow (NYJ)
30. Kevin Kolb (ARZ)
Tier 7
31. Kyle Orton (DAL)
32. Christian Ponder (MIN)
33. Ryan Tannehill (MIA)
34. Blaine Gabbert (JAX)
35. Jake Locker (TEN)
Tier 8
36. Chad Henne (JAX)
37. Colt McCoy (CLE)
38. John Skelton (ARZ)
39. Joe Webb (MIN)
40. Tarvaris Jackson (SEA)

> Ik, ik... Peyton Manning #1 overall and I'm a Broncos fan.... I would like to say Peyton has been at the top of my list even when he was in Indy. (I could even bump an old QB ranking post to prove that) It was a tough choice between him and Brady but after watching the Colts self-destruct without him I have to think he is an overall more valuable QB and his career definitely backs it up. |

Agreeable. |

Hmmm...I think Big Ben should be #5. Other than that I'm agreeing 100%! |
|
|
i think big ben is right where he belongs, because of the way burton set this up. the top six QBs are the only six on this list to win a super bowl. |
|
|
But Big Ben is tough. Real tough. Can't disagree on that! |
|
|
i agree. that steelers oline is pretty banged up. but i think that numbers 4-6 are pretty much a tie. each quarterback has a ring, each quarterback is elite, and each quarterback is clutch. i'm sure they're all tier one quarterbacks, but eli slights out big ben because eli just won a ring |
|
|
Yeah thats true. But he got lucky with that late pass to that WR! (I forgot his name...again.) |

The tiers are all set up in 5's... Otherwise Big Ben would be in tier 1. |

By the way, RGIII, in my opinion, will be in tier 1 soon. He is a triple threat QB. |

Both RGIII and Andrew Luck have amazing potential and could very well be the Mannings and Bradys of the NFL in the future. However, right now as rookies I can't put them much higher util we see their performance at the pro level. |

I agree. Keep them down until they proove it. I think RGIII is better than A. Luck, though. |
