I think ROBLOX should make it so users (BC+) can upload VIDEO ads. It would be just like the thumbnail thing. You post it to YouTube then it goes through moderation.
"But that will require more mods and more work!" No problem, uploading a video ad will cost 1000 R$ PLUS however much you spend to run it. It automatically plays when it shows up, and when a user clicks *bam* it takes them to where ever its meant to. |

These offsite ads that are bit images cause enough lag, and most of them aren't bit images.
No support, besides, look at the resolution for ads. Talk about a widescreen. |

Yeah I wish they had video ads |

No. People will make ads of flashing lights, and give people with epilepsy seizures.
"But no, people with epilepsy wouldn't play video games!"
They do. Most are just careful. |

@frostbite206 So what do they have to do if they don't have bc and see an offsite ad with flashing lights. Which is why I don't understand what your trying to say. |
|

Heck no.
Ads are annoying as is, I don't want video ads lagging up my iPod when I'm foruming.

Bump/Addition. Maybe there can be a feature where you can turn them off. BUT when you run the ad it says how much people have it on, so you know if you should run it. Please like add this to my original idea. |

No support.I'm not interested on seeing some random ad that I can't pause. |

Why the heck would somebody make an offsite ad that gave seizures?
Companies PAY REAL MONEY to do that.
(they'd lose even more from the angry parents suing)
Onto the real idea:
If this is going to happen, the videos will be horribly scretched unless it's a rectangle ad, and sound would be impossible considering the sheer amount of all the ads running at once.
Just use videos for your game. They might attract some flies.

As I said in another thread the exact same as this, I'd prefer not to hear an 8 year old screaming at the top of their lungs, "OMG JOIN THIS GROUP! ITZ DA BEST GROUP EVAR!!!! U R A N00B IF U DONT JOIN THIS GROUP! NOOB! HAHAHA YOU'RE A NOOB!" meanwhile Justin Beiber music plays in the background and pictures of MLP's are on the screen.
So, no support. |

@frostbite206 Yah well I've seen many ads with flashing lights. (not that I support this or anything) Example the ads that lead to surveys. Which are mostly scams that at the end ask for a credit or debit card number to steal your money. Yes I've had nbc before so I know this. Not all ads are from legit companies. I've got one ad that wasn't even in the united states. It will be hard to sue a company that wasn't in the united states and win cause first you will have find the actual company then, you will have to have your proof that the seizure actually came from the ad which will be very difficult to prove while your in court, because chances are if you are in court and the company is legit, they're most likely gonna have better lawyers then you. And without will evidence the seizure came from the ad your probably gonna lose your case. Probably will lose even if you had proof. |

It's weird for the first time I would actually want this added. Unfortunetely this seems like more of a dream then a reality. It would be too hard to moderate all of the videos. They would need to hire video moderators and that takes money, time, and effort. If they took the alternate route, it would be too hard to monitor all the videos without moderators.
No support, even though it is a good suggestion. |

Ads are already good as it is. |
