B. You and Romeo begin sprinting up the hill to where the turets were. You have almost reached the top when gunfire from automatic weapons is sprayed all around you. Romeo crumples, but when you rush back to help him, he tells you to go on without him. The gunfire seems to have stopped. A. Return to the turret. B. Help Romeo up, regardless of what he says. C. Call for help and try to return fire at the soldier who shot at you. D. Try to help Romeo by yourself.

Unanimous... O.o. A. You force yourself to stay awake, even though the pain is almost unbearable. You see the medic arrive and inject Romeo with the magical fix-all, but when he turns to you, you see he's run out. You hear, "Manual rescue... Scalpels... Anesthetic not necessary... Romeo, if you could carry him..." You're dimly aware of being transported to the medical tent, having your chest cut open, things being taken out and put inside... Then you finally black out. When you wake up, you're staring into the face of Romeo, who seems like he's about to cry. As you open your eyes, he smiles, then calls the medic over. In a very happy voice, Romeo tells you that you have gotten life saving surgery and enhancements that actually improve upon you. You look down, and see that your chest has become a machine. A. Scream. B. Faint. C. "Huh. That's interesting." D. "What the flibbishibits did you do to me?!"

These counterparts are actually better than the originals, so you are now stronger, faster, and better than the average Joe. You calm down a bit, but now you wonder what's going to happen to you. This suit must've costed a fortune, so you doubt you'll be a normal infantry from now on. A. Ask about your fate. B. Prepare to leave the medical tent. C. Ask Romeo how the rest of the battle was. D. The actual Vaktovian weapons that seem to be standard in their bases and games are sniper rifles... I learned from bad experience. So yes, it was a sniper rifle of sorts that hit him. Random choice! D. You look around the tent. Medical supplies hang from wooden beams, machines that check your pulse and such sit next to your bed, and... Wait. You see something move in the corner, behind a flap of tent. A. Dismiss it and try to rest. B. "Who's there?" C. Ignore it and examine the machines. D. Try to get out of bed and go to the corner yourself.
