You remember how so many people have found what they were searching for westwards, and so you drive out of town, without a map, into the setting sun. Once it is nightfall, you all sleep in shifts, one person keeping watch at all times In the morning, you continue.
After two days of this, you reach a mining town, with a Vaktovian flag flying above the town hall. You have reached Vaktovia! Romeo suddenly gasped, and says that this is the city of Verona. His beloved Juliet lives somewhere here. "She can probably give us shelter. Her parents have a manor here."
A. Ignore Romeo's suggestion and go stay at the inn.
B. Find Manor Capulet (Juliet's home).
C. Just park somewhere and sleep in the jeep.
D. Ask around the town if you can stay with them. |

You tell Romeo that her father is a high-ranking Vaktovian, and he'd probably kill us as soon as he finds out who we are. Romeo sits in a sullen silence as the rest of you find a good parking spot to stay. You settle on a small alcove underneath a bridge. As night falls, you all make yourselves comfortable in the jeep.
In the morning, Romeo and Mercutio are gone. Ben folio calls them a bunch of bad names as the drive to the village center, hoping to see him there. To your slight surprise, he is; he and Mercutio are sitting on a park bench, looking at a very pretty young lady. You park and leave the jeep, joining the two friends on the bench.
"There she is, my friends," he says wistfully, "Juliet Capulet, the girl of my dreams."
"His naughty dreams," Mercutio adds, grinning. Benvolio slaps him over the head.
"Romeo, think of it logically. It's never going to work," says Benvolio, "You're probably gonna get married, but you'll have to go and she'll want to come with you, so she'll get this potion that makes her seem like she's dead, and you'll see her without knowing she's still alive and you'll kill yourself. Then she'll wake up and kill herself too. And that might end the war between the armies under Capulet and the Montague Coalition of Villages, but you'd both be dead. It won't work between you two!"
Romeo dismisses him and goes off to talk with Juliet. Mercutio informs you two that they got married last night. He went to a wicked party, so he's having a massive hangover right now. That leaves you and Benvolio to decide what to do now. Well, Benvolio is ranting about how stupid Romeo is, so just you.
A. Go talk to Juliet.
B. Ask about who married them.
C. Go ask around about the Capulets.
D. Find Capulet Manor. |

You slip away from Benvolio's rant and join Romeo and Juliet. You catch them whispering sweet nothing's in each others' ears, and suppress the urge to roll your eyes. Romeo introduces Juliet to you, who says she is very pleased to meet you. The three of you talk of how the couple met and fell in love, climaxing in their marriage the previous night, performed by Friar Lawrence. "We're actually thinking of leaving Verona together," says Juliet excitedly, "Tonight, in fact! Then, we can finally be together..." Suddenly, she grabs Romeo and gives him an extremely passionate kiss. You turn around, blushing. After almost two minutes, you hear the sound of ungluing lips, and turn around. You're about to comment on the unusual length of the kiss when you notice a man standing across the plaza, watching them with a shocked expression on his face.
A. Tell Romeo.
B. Ignore him; probably just a coincidence.
C. Run back to Mercutio and Benvolio to tell them.
D. Run after the man. |

Saronite1100, I think you may have read the wrong post... Random choice! A.
You tell Romeo about the man, and his face whitens. Drawing a small pistol, he says to Juliet, "I'll be back," then begins running after the man. Panicking, you run after him. You follow Romeo into the maze of streets inside Verona, until, as you round a corner, you hear gunshots. You freeze, then turn around when you hear footsteps behind you. Mercutio and Benvolio run past you, ornate blades drawn. Panic lessening, you follow them.
Romeo retreats behind His two friends, cursing and reloading his pistol. Chasing him is a large group of Vaktovians, all of whom have drawn swords. As Mercutio and Benvolio meet them in a clash of swords and yells, a sudden shout of "Wait" rings through the alleyway. The Vaktovians back off, and a larger, more muscular one steps forward. "Hello again, Mercutio," he says, in a deep voice, "I thought I'd finally driven such vulgarity from my city once and for all." At this remark, Mercutio leaps forward, lashing out at the man.
"You, my little Tybalt, will regret the day I stayed Romeo's hand and let you live on the battlefield," says Mercutio with a maniacal smile. A grin appears on Tybalt's face, and the two continue dueling.
A. Step in a fight with Mercutio.
B. Run in and attack the other Vaktovians.
C. Run away and get the guards.
D. Ask Benvolio what happened to Mercutio in Verona. |

I couldn't agree with you more, Kongmk. B.
You pick upmamsword one of the Vaktovians set on the ground and charge at the Vaktovians. Benvolio and Romeo back you up. Finally, after a few minutes of fighting, Romeo turns around and tries to push Mercutio and Tybalt away from each other, with a loud shout of "Enough!" You hear Zmercutio cry in pain, then all the Vaktovians retreat, leaving you and the rest of your party slightly speechless.
You turn around to see Mercutio lying in the arms of Romeo, bleeding heavily from his chest. In no more than a whisper, Mercutio says, "I'll miss you all. Romeo, why'd you have to be so bloody interfering and step in between us? You've killed me, my friend. Good luck on finding... The Sacred... The... Say... Cred..."
And Mercutio breathes his last.
After a few moments of silence, Romeo lets out a bellow of rage and anguish, then picks of Mercutio's swords and runs down the alley after Tybalt and his men.
A. Go find a guard.
B. Chase Romeo.
C. Ask Benvolio about the Tybalt-Mercutio relationship.
D. Run away. |

You ask Benvolio about what happened between Mercutio and Tybalt. With tears in his eyes, Benvolio tells you of how Mercutio was the town troublemaker. "He'd chase the girls, get terribly drunk, and crash all the parties. Finally, Tybalt couldn't take such rowdyness, and banished him from the city. He came back, and now... This." Finally, Benvolio hides his face in his hands and lets out a humongous sob.
A. Chase after Romeo.
B. Find a guard.
C. Find a priest.
D. Ask who Tybalt is. |

Gah, sorry I'm late... D.
You ask who Tybalt is. Benvolio sighs, then begins to explain how Tybalt is the heir to the House of Capulet, a very powerful house in the ranks of the Vaktovian Empire. Tybalt was pretty much the sheriff around Verona, and didn't like a trouble. He also hates the Montagues with a passion, and, since Mercutio was a friend off the Montagues, he banished him.
Suddenly, a cry is heard down the alley.
A. Investigate!
B. Tell a guard.
C. Check the perimeter.
D. Run up the hill to Capulet Manor. |

While Benvolio carries Mercutio down to the marketplace, you run up to Capulet Manor. Just as you run into a small marketplace, Romeo and Tybalt burst through, slashing at each other with their swords. With a grimace that complies to your original stereotypes of him, Romeo screams, "You'll pay for what you've done! Mercutio was a good man, and you killed him! YOU KILLED HIM!!!"
Tybalt doesn't reply. You can see from his facial expression that he is struggling to keep up with Romeo's blows, clenching his teeth every time Romeo's sword lands on his. With another cry, Romeo hits Tybalt's blade and knocks it away onto the stone ground. The tip of the blade at Tybalt's chest, Romeo drives him until he is against a wall.
"I'm sorry, Romeo," says Tybalt, "Please. Please don't. Please spare me." Romeo shakes his head, tears in his eyes.
"Nobody. Hurts. My. Friends," hisses Romeo, "But you did. You dog. You scoundrel! I HATE YOU!!!" Romeo screams in Tybalt's face, then brings his sword down and slashes it across Tybalt's face and chest. Tybalt let's out a gasp, then slides to the floor, dead. Romeo steps back, looking from his blade to the dead Tybalt lying on the ground. "What have I done... What have I done!" Wildly, he looks around, then runs away.
A. Follow him.
B. Find Juliet to tell her what happened.
C. Find Benvolio.
D. Find a guard. |

You follow Romeo, who doesn't make it very far. Two guards who saw what happened tackle him and take his sword. Romeo is crying as the lead him away towards a van.
A. Try to help him escape.
B. Get the jeep and follow the van.
C. Find Benvolio and inform him of what happened.
D. Find Juliet and tell her what happened. |
