I CANT SEE MY BODY AND FACE IS CHECKERED HELP!

Everytime I enter the game for some odd reason The gui that shows the names doesnt come up and I cant see my characters face or body and the game isnt laggy at all. Ive been to other games hoping that was the solution but it wasnt...HELP!!
