I like Roblox Studio 2.0 but I think it would be better if we could run it on more operating systems. Examples are Ubuntu and other Linux operating systems. I have Windows but my connection is very laggy but it isn't on Ubuntu. Just saying.

I actually have a group regarding this called "Roblox for All". The public interest in seeing Roblox on Linux (Ubuntu/Fedora/etc) seems to be working :) I'm testing right now to see if I can find any new workarounds on Ubuntu to get it to work in WINE.

If you look at the blog, they're working on a Linux port. The difficulty in porting was that their graphics engine on Windows used Direct3D, which, being a Microsoft technology, is never going to be available on any other operating system than Windows. However, they now have another graphics engine written using OpenGL to actually get stuff on the screen, meaning it's going to be compatible with Mac OS X and Linux because they both support OpenGL. Mac OS X and Linux also have other similarities which make them relatively easy to port stuff between.

@Tarabukka Well that's great for us Linux users. Also bump.
