We should be able to go to the "Account" settings, and have a place where you can make an account only accessible from a specific IP address. It would automatically be turned "Off" but you could enable it, and then you would have to manually set the IP to whatever yours is. By that, I mean you would have to manually type in the IP. I feel that this could halt quite a few pass-guessers or Keylogger sites. (^Thought up completely by me) There would be a "Bypass" system that "Skips" the IP. Heres how it would work; A player will type up a security question, or any number of them up to 5. The answers would >Not< be case-sensitive. If any one of the questions is wrong, then it would boot them out of the log-in process. Basically what happens if you type in your pw incorrectly. The system would be similar to the "Forgot your pw?" system, in that it would show up to be clicked after an incorrect log-in. The use for this, is for those users who have Dynamic IP's and/or are prone to IP changes. (^Thought up by Cobalt10, Mikkeldude, Negativeone, and myself.) The IP and Security questions would also be able to be set via E-M. as well as from the regular site. Helps to access from a distance, such as at a friend's house. > By that, I mean you would have to manually type in the IP. I'm just going to correct this right away so my post doesn't get on the second page of "I'm going to ignore you post." There should be a button on the page to auto-input the IP address of the current computer for those who don't know how to type "What is my IP" into Google. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

Nice. I've seen IP-binding on other websites but don't think I've seen of a bypass system before!

I like this new mod. He actually lets us know that we're not being ignored. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

@Cobalt; true. @MCA; Thanks for the compliment on the ideas of multiple people pooling their ideas! What I'm hoping this will do is completely block out PW-Guessers/Scammers or whatever it is you want to call them. And with the ideas pooled together by a few of the S&I members, I feel we came up with a close to foolproof idea here. ~>Count Zero<~

Again; @Cobalt; Agreed. I was rather busy watching my 2 -- I mean 3yr old younger brother(Turned 3 yesterday. He's a monster. >.>); so it took me some time to actually completely type and post that. Lol. ~>Count Zero<~

Read Cobalt's add-on to this. There would be a button to automatically input that specific computers IP. Also; something I failed to explain, and it annoyed me; The Security questions would come up BEFORE you could actually lock the IP. Sorry; but I had to calrify that, because it annoyed me and I thought "What if a computer crashed in the middle of the lock?" due to someone on the original thread. ~>Count Zero<~

> W-Wait did a moderator just actually SUPPORT a idea They did so in the past, but MCA is much better than the rest in my opinion. The others would usually post 1 comment every few months, and even when it would be vague or abstract. MCA posts frequently, and he's clear about it. I had the pleasure of getting one of my ideas commented on by a mod once before. I think they even hinted at it in one of their blog posts a while back. Anyway, look forward to this being a bit more common than before. I know I am. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

@Cobalt Agreed. Rather than once a month comments or something like that; something around what MCA does is a good amount. He doesn't suffocate people by posting on every single one, but he does post enough for us to know "Yes, they are reading, and acting" rather than having us think "Do they even care?". I find that rather reassuring. Knowing that the ideas are being looked at, and occasionally replied to. ~>Count Zero<~

Total support. and as for people who dont know what they're ip is, maybe there could some kind of on screen guide showing them how to find out. or better yet, a simple button they push that tells them they're ip.
