Avast is rubbish, its just a con, I wouldn't reccomend it. Just use Windows Defender its one of the best and it comes anyways if you have windows.

Here's the problem I'm having with Roblox, @PaleStream is also
having the same problem as I am.
It was a normal day, I was playing games as usual.
Then, I left a game and I wanted to join another.
I couldn't join the game for some reason, so I tried to join a few other games too.
But none of the games I tried to join would open. Roblox was already installed and downloaded into my computer, what caused this to happen?
So I uninstalled roblox, (Assuming the problem might be fixed when I reinstall it again) I tried to reinstall it again but instead the games page would appear when I pressed "run". (The run appears so you can install Roblox, it also appears after you've downloaded Roblox.)
I expected a pop up to appear saying "Installing complete!" (Or something like that), but it never showed up. This means Roblox won't reinstall, so I can't play Roblox. ;-;
Every time I tried to go through the Roblox installing/downloading process, I would be taken to the games page without Roblox installed on my computer, even though I pressed run. This keeps on happening every time I try to install Roblox.
★ What I'm saying is: Roblox will download on my computer, but not reinstall.★
Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I tried my best
to explain the problem I'm having.
If you know how to fix this problem, please
let me know! Also, please type it out in steps.

I use Mac and Roblox won't install no matter how much I try, whenever I go the the installer I click on open however it seems it won't install .
In conclusion Roblox hs to contact support as well as no Mac support so I say 8/8 IGN gr8 b8 m8 don't h8 just apprici8. |

Mine won't work either. I have literally downloaded it over 50 times and it won't let me play. What happens is:
1. I click play on a game
2. *Roblox loading*
3. Roblox: Please download and install roblox.
4. I click download
5. Roblox downloads.
6. I click play multiple times, and nothing happens.
7. I delete all my roblox files and repeat the steps.

The same thing happened to me. Please help!!! My laptop wont install ROBLOX! Please help me, or my life is officially over. Goodbye world, and goodbye ROBLOX. :(

I use Chrome most of the time but now when I try to join a game it shows the you have to download the Roblox and I did and it didn't open so I clicked the play button on the part where it shows you what to do to open it for first-timers and it opened my explorer and it worked perfectly fine |

It's not just Windows 8, I still have Windows 7, and nothing installs. It will say that it is installing when I open up the .exe file and run it, but it never displays the screen that states Roblox has fully installed. I have tried countless times to uninstall and reinstall Roblox, to reboot my computer, I had help from Roblox and every single thing they recommended for Roblox refusing to load did not work. I cannot play Roblox on my computer anymore. And my iPad is not an option, the internet at my house sucks and my iPad seems to be unable to do anything without full bars. |

I have the same issue as the people above who can't install roblox any longer. I have cleaned the registry of all traces of roblox, disabled antivirus, safe mode attempts, you name it. The issue started shortly after an upgrade to Windows 10, though not immediately. The only theory I have left is that the default profile files are somehow corrupted and I need to replace them with Windows 10 profile files from a non-corrupt computer. Just not sure how to get these as no one I know has it also.
To be clear, my file downloads but when i run the exe nothing happens. Other programs install fine. Tech support has given up on my ticket.
I will follow up here but if anyone else had any success getting Roblox to work please let me know...

Roblox Studio Looped the "Getting Updates" thing when i clicked to launch. Deleted Local files and even the goddamn Reg Keys. Removed Cookies, History, etc. ,Restarted and Roblox has no restrictions on my browser (Firefox). Downloaded Studio, clicked to launch, nothing happens. So back to having the same goddamn problems from a year ago that made me leave in the first place... |
