What I'm suggesting here is kind of simple.
First, I should explain that this idea is formed around the hope that we'll be able to build custom structures in the new territory-raiding thing..
Anyways, I think changes in land occuring in one territory should affect land which is also affected by what was changed (prior and proceeding the changing incident, of course).
For example, let's imagine a river was flowing through Territory A, Territory B, and Territory C.
If Territory B dammed the river, Territory C would no longer have a river flowing through it (and instead a large sandy indent in the ground).
If the dam were high and wide enough, Territory B would only need to raise the land surrounding the river to avoid flooding.
Now, if Territory A attacked and successfully damaged the dam after this had been accomplished, Territory C, presumably being at a lower elevation than the river, would be flooded. The speed of the flood would be affected by how wide and tall the new gap in the dam would be. If the river had accumulated enough water, Territory C would become a lake.
Anyways, that's just one example. There are a lot more things that could be done with this. |
