Record the audio, and listen to it by hand; using their somewhere around 150 or so moderators, to listen in on more than 30,000 players at any given moment.
Bots can't moderate the sound, you'd have to listen to it by ear.

Bots = unable to recognize soundwaves being projected through a computer.
Even a simple language like Lua is capable of picking up the chatted inappropriate words. There are many auto-ban scripts made for typing certain things.

Also; actually they can. You just have to add them to the filter.
