This is my final updated version of my original thread. This has thrown out the Kick option, which wasn't popular. It also contains one last loophole I failed to notice with the Block option. If you haven't read either of the originals, basically this is a thread requesting the inclusion of the Ignore option, and the Block option. The following paragraphs explain what they are, what they do, etc.
Ignore: Basically allows you to ignore the individual whom you chose to ignore while in-game.
Allows you to not see their chat, and they will be notified via small pop-up, similar to the In-game Friend Request pop-up, that they are being ignored, and will not be able to see the person whom ignored them's chat as well. The way the Ignore tool would be accessed is you would either
A. Click on the user, and choose the Ignore option from the list of options. (Including Send FR, Accept FR, Deny FR, and Remove Friend).
B. Click on the username in the Player List. The option would also be there.
C. The Game Menu
When a person is being ignored, a symbol similar to a Mute button would appear next to their name in the username list, similar to the BC symbol, and the Friend symbol.
The reasons why this would be a good additional option in ROBLOX:
1. Hides spam
2. Prevents chat-fights
3. Possibly lower # of Reports & Bans
4. Safer ROBLOX
Block: Basically allows you to not even be in contact to the individual you chose to block while not in-game.
It would allow you to not only not be in-game with that character while blocked, but not recieve PMs from that person, not be in party chat with that person, and that person will NOT be able to see your profile.
Only allowing the blocked person to see 'This user has blocked you'. In the case of the person being in a game with 1-3 servers, the individual will be allowed in that game, but will not see that user's chat, similar to ignore. The individual will still be able to see the character, however, to prevent impossibilities in fighting games. Also, if you were to try to enter a server containing the person you had blocked, for reasons such as a friend you wanted to talk to was in there, you could still be allowed in, and the "Blockee" would be allowed to stay, but the Ignore status would take place, where the Blockee's chat is hidden from you, and your chat is hidden from the Blockee.
The Block option could be accessed ONLY by going on that user's profile and choosing the 'Block' option. In the case that you accidently click the button, there would be a 'Are you sure?' pop-up to ensure that you would like to block that user. Whenever met in-game, for the 1-3 servers case, or the intentionally entering their server case, a symbol similar to a Red X would appear next to their name in the Username list, similar to the BC symbol, and the friend symbol.
Reasons why this would be a good additional option in ROBLOX:
1. Prevents spam messages
2. Prevents stalking (Unwanted following)
3. Prevents chat/PM fights
Hopefully, in this FINAL version, EVERY LOOPHOLE IS GONE. NO POSSIBLE ABUSE!!! So... hopefully this is added in :D If you support either of these options, (Or both, hopefully), then "Bump" this, or write Support/Support (The first support being for Ignore, the second being for Block). |

Even if the person blocked a whole bunch of people, the fact that they're sent to another server (If available) prevents any sort of abuse. If you're asking for a Block limit, then it would probably just be 20, the same amount of Best Friends. |

Also, with the scamming thing, ROBLOX doesn't support scams, so I'm pretty sure they would NOT make this all because people couldn't scam others. |

You wouldn't be able to block yourself. Even if you could, the only real effect would be you couldn't PM yourself. |

Absolute no support. If that thing gets bugs it'll be the end for you. And mistakes happen MANY TIMES!
Example you want to block someone
Midnight1324: Hmph! That jerk is always an irritation henceforth I shall block him myself!
- While midnight1324 is trying to remember the name of the irritation he accidentally types FlaminTroll's name -
- Next day FlaminTroll and Midnight1324 meet at school -
FlaminTroll: What the heck man I can't contact you on roblox! What did you do?!

You can unblock a person on that same profile at any time. With ignore, it lasts until you or that person leaves the server. Plus, your example would be a rare case. |

Not to mention the "Are You Sure?" Pop-up, which is practically a reminder to make sure you want THAT person blocked. |

Geez, whenever I make a "Horrible" idea, ppl reply (Negatively) a LOT, but with this, I have to double, usually triple-post, just for a reply. |
