yes many ppl have had this problem i got it this morning and as typing now lol i got the reply to the email i sent roblox wait a sec o soz it ws just to say they should reply within a day any ways lots of ppl ha got it and some ppl are say it to do wit ram (if you dont no it is the pc tempary memoy) or it is your oprating system(vista xp, so on) well i no it is not ram as i have 3 gig n it hastnt changed from this morning, now i dnt think that is the os becas i was playing happly from when i started playing i have also notised that some ppl got it yesterday (15 april 09) so if you have this problem plz stat when you got it and your os and ram if you no it so we can see if there any conotions also say if there was a update as some ppl think that that could b y thank you 4 reding this short story lol |

Slow Internet Connection / Big Map If you are playing on the internet on really slow service, and the map is big, it can take a good bit of time to actually download the map. Give it a little while. ROBLOX can be played on a modem, but your experience is likely to be poor. Empty Map / Place If the map seems to be running.. but it is unusually devoid of stuff, then the maker was just lazy and the map did in fact load. The maker probably just didn't do anything with the map, so it is empty. You can tell when a map is done loading, a chime is sounded. Bad Map / Place Quite simply. the map is bad. something happened when the map was made, there is some bad script, or something is preventing the map from working properly. Inform the maker of the problem, there is nothing you can do about it. What to Do Make Sure You’re Using the Supported Browser First thing to check, is see what browser you are using. Currently, the ROBLOX web site and the inbuilt browser you use in the Roblox Studio are using Internet Explorer, and that is all the Roblox can start from at the moment. Firefox and Opera are not yet supported, and you will have to either use Internet Explorer to open it, or go into Roblox Studio, where the page will open up. If you try to connect to a world without IE, you may get an error message that says "Roblox cannot start from your web browser," and that is the very error that this is. HA! It has nothing to do with a firewall or router! It worked perfectly fine yesterdday and nothing has changed. I wished we knew what was wrong. Support isn't very helpful. I can't even upload my place due to this. It says Upload Failed. And when i try to join a game it freezes. I have to kill teh roblox program to do anything. Very frustrating. |
