Now I know what you're thinking as soon as you click this. "OMG TEY REM0VED THEMP BEFORE" or something like that. But this idea is different to just 'Bring back user sounds/meshes. I was having a good think and I came up with a system which will re-allow user meshes, sounds and anamations in a controlled fashion.
The idea is that you can apply to upload user sounds/meshes/etc.
I don't know where it will go on the website, but you will have to send a applicant to [email protected] or someone like that. To be able to upload sounds/meshes/etc your moderation history must be clean enough. E.g if someone was banned for 3 days for making a innapropriate model then they may not be able to upload user meshes.
Users would also have to be at least 3 months old so they are becoming used to Roblox.
Anyway, if the applicant reached the standards then they would then have the ability to upload user sounds/meshes/etc. Obviously once they upload these they will still be moderated.
I think I was going to say something else, but someone partied me so I forgot, i'll come out with a V.2 of this or something some time.
But in the mean time please reply. If you do not support please give me a reason. I can't be bothered reading the 'no' in your 'no support' if you can't be bothered writing me a opinion.

I would love to import machinary, guns and pipe meshes for personal use. However, since creepy adults, perverted kids, and trolls would try to sneak in some innappropriate things, it would be ruined for us all. |

Why do you feel that you must "bump" every other post? If people aren't replying to your post, than its served its time. It's not your fault, its just that not everyone agrees with said idea.
As for your idea in general, no. ROBLOX used to allow user-created meshes, but that got out of hand. The community basically threw away the gift. Now, just imagine that times two, which is exactly what'd happen if we were to allow people to upload their own meshes, sounds and animations.

I don't see what the problem is. Meshes are just like models. If they moderated them carefully like models or decals or whatever, they woulden't be able to sneak them through.
But I understand what you are saying about the community throwing that ability away. |
