Why not have a delete button? They already have the checkboxes. They have an archive button but not a delete one.

I have hundreds of old friend requests that I would like to get rid of permanently. I use my archive for old messages that I like to read every once in a while. Then I have all the messages saying "Join my group" or "Donate plz" which would be nice to get rid of.
Yes it may be over suggested. I noticed that. Please give a reason why you support or not. Ignoring any trolls.

My alt got a PM with an unclickable title. It doesnt work the same way as forum posts with PMs. Whenever I log onto it it says I have one message and I cant get rid of it.

If you use google chrome try to inspect elements. Then find the link somewhere. It's kind of complicated. But you can still get in. |

There was a delete button until like 2011 and it was then replaced with archiving for no reason. |

I have over 400 messages, and I get a lot more in a week. I have to take hours just to read them, especially when my game is in the games list it's worst. I had to disabled ALL players messaging me because the solution was so horrible, I have so many messages I wish to get rid of including the spam ones. At the moment my inbox is stuck at 3 messages every time I am DONE reading them, we need a delete message button, I really need to get rid of the 3 last messages.

I remember the delete button as well, Thirz.
I think there should be both an Archive, and a delete button. Archive messages you may want to keep and look back on later- and a delete button for things like those pesky spam messages and messages for friend requests being accepted or denied.
