I think Roblox really needs undercover moderation at the popular modern/urbain role playing games (or RPGs) like:
-The ROBLOX Dance Club!
-The Complex V.4.1 (UPDATED)
-Roblox Jr High School™ *School Dance* --(The title is meant to attract ODers...)
-Welcome to the Town of Robloxia™
This obviously will cost money to moderate these games, but what if TRUSTe or Better Business Bureau® (BBB) finds out about this? BBB would grade it an F for online child saftey and TRUSTe would stop certifying you as "child safe".
These games are filled with OD and people who break rules thinking they're so cool and start saying inappropriate stuff, breaking rules, asking for personal info etc... Mainly OD though. If Roblox is meant for people 6+ I think it needs to be safer for all the young people who play Roblox. After all it's mainly those young players who play those games. This is why we need undercover moderation at games similar to those.

*If you look at the bottom left hand of the screen you see the TRUSTe and BBB emblem. Those corporations check sites and see if they are child safe. These corporations are VERY well know. They are like the ESRB for online child sites. *

Try going to one of the games listed there isn't a single server without an ODer. |

What's the point. It's like, really. I've been on 13 servers of WTTOR without an ODer in July 2011.
Besides, it's like, 1 ODer. We don't need 2 mods for that. Besides, if the mod is at the game, ODers will get away with because every second is "OemGee! It iz Sorcus!". No. |

Besides, this is just sterotype after sterotype. I've only seen ROBLOX Dance Club on the front page twice this year. |

@Moneyboxmonkey, it is going to be UNDERCOVER!!! you will not know its the roblox team.
I think something has to be done, i have seen to many of them. i report them of course, but what about the other servers, and not everyone reports.
maybe they could pay TRUSTED users to do it, like 10 tix for one hour of Undercover duty. (just an idea.) |

It is now. A while ago back in June, there was a game called Habbo Hotel that got into a lot of trouble and almost got shut down because of this problem. Basically what happen is there was a mass amount of OD happening which involved a lot of "old people", the lack of moderation and actions being done.
It's hard to explain here but if you search " Habbo Channel 4 News " and read the article you will understand what happened and how it's very similar to here. |

Exactly why that game almost got shutdown, all the mods said was report them and move on. Read the article please, it's the first search result on google when you search Habbo Channel 4 News. |

The reason why OD is banned is because:
1) You have no clue who's on the other end the computer, this leads to a lot of "old people OD little kids".
2) OD can lead to people giving out personal info or even worst, photos.
If those 2 get reasons get combined it leads to major issues and problems for Roblox and obviously the OD. If just one case of this gets reported Roblox would be down for a while and would have to disable the chat. It would also need to become a 13+ game.

I have no support for a secret mod force. I do think there might be a system through report that pays you if you LEGITLY report someone.
The ROBLOX team can't be on 24-7 to be on EVERY single game server on ROBLOX. It would cause ROBLOX to shut down from lack of funds.
If they payed people robux or tix it wouldn't be paying anything just copying and pasting a bunch of code into the ROBLOX vault and have it issued when needed. |

I'm not saying 24/7 moderation, I'm saying occasional moderation at random servers. |

Roblox actually has their TRUSTe back.
Besides, if this happens, why not moderator every game ?
Im sure if roblox could do this, they would, but they can't.
Thats why it's up to you to report something you know is breaking the rules. |

ONE- Too costly.
Also, I don't think a place can loose a BBB rating due to stuff the COMMUNITY did.
