roblox needs to delete abandoned accounts that havent been on for years. people are just creating accounts and not using them... and when people are signing up a abandoned account may have the name they want |

There are a lot of things that could go wrong with this suggestion. I'll list a few.
-ROBLOX deleting an account that wasn't inactive
-ROBLOX deleting an account someone isn't using during the school year. (Someone who plays in the summer, but not during school time)
-Possibility of bugs and abusing in this
-Etc.
There is three out of many reasons NOT to do this.

Maybe have a two year thing, if they are not on for the amount of time, there account will be deleted. |

Think of many of the famous ROBLOXians who have quit or gone inactive after making awesome and popular places and models?
Ie; Are92; who was recently brought up slightly in a blog post.

Problem with this suggestion:
-Person forgets P@$$ to their acc
>That person doesnt go on ROBLOX for 3-5 years
>The person FINALLY remembers their P@$$ and tries to log on
"Sorry, but this acc.ount has been deleted due to inactivity"

They should make it so that ROBLOX would contact the Email provided at creation of acount to tell them they been inactive for blah blah blah and your acount will be deleted if nothing is done soon. And have like a month grace period. But the contact the email every 3 months saying "Hiya from roblox!" And be the delete time like one and a half years. That seems most reasonable to me. Please contact me if you think you have a better idea. If we can create a great idea we can send it in! :) |

Storage is not an issue for ROBLOX, at all. A typical "abandoned" account takes up less space than a single uploaded decal. |
