This is an idea that, in myhead at least, doesn't seem abusable in any way. The idea I came up with is that you can have the ability to use some of the features found in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word (Bold, Italics, Underline, Font Color and Size, the Font, etc.)
----Layout
The layout would be a small bar at the top of the Message box for your thread or post. Now, it wouldn't have ALL of the features that these programs have to offer but just have the main ones, mainly the ones i mentioned above along with some others that I've noticed over my time using other forums. Back to the bar though. It would be the same length across the message box and maybe a max of two rows. The access shouldn't be too terribly hard when making up your post.

Now, think you are making a rule thread or a building guide. The customization of these types would make pointing out new sections for this guide/thread easier to be noticed. Also you wouldn't have to spam +'s and ='s throughout it. |
