The Frostarian Four exemplifies four traits expected out of a Frostarian. HONOR - Loyalty, Dedication, Diplomacy, Friendliness, Approachable. DISCIPLINE - Obedience, Maturity, Respect. STRENGTH - Skill, Tactics, Communication, Patience. KNOWLEDGE - Creativity, Expressiveness, Well Read. Who are RAT/Ex-RAT Role Models to look at for these traits? HONOR - Meowmixxed, Benblue9, mike82098. DISCIPLINE - RodgerDodger, Stelation, Meto02. STRENGTH - RodgerDodger, Stelation, Meto02. KNOWLEDGE - Dragonoftime, Bereza12, cj10127. I have not included myself because I do not wish for you to look at me solely as a role model. I am a person who has many expectations of me thus making the areas I work in/how I act vary on many times. Please look to your Rehab professors for advice - they know more than me in the areas they are assigned to (except Knowledge - since I am in charge and have final say on all lore I can be approached there. Dragonoftime however is very very smart and well written, even moreso than me I'd honestly believe, so please go to her for all non canon approval needs) ====REHABILITATION==== The "rehab" training system is designed with 3 set goals: -Purge your preexisting ideals on what a clan is and open your mind to new systems and innovation -Find your strengths and your weaknesses so we can improve upon what needs improvement and enrich what you're already good at -Place you where you need to be with minimal wait so we don't hold too strict to a rule book, which we believe will only harm us in the end as everything will slow down in situations where it requires everything to be fast. Rehab is required for every single rank except admirals, great admirals and the grand admiral. Rehab will take place at two places: -Sparrow Mansion (Honor and Knowledge) : aka [ROSEREHAB] -Disciplus Hall (Strength and Discipline) : aka [THORNREHAB] Rose Rehab will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. They will usually take place around 6 EST on weekdays and 3 EST on weekends. They can take place on other times to on other days but the stated days are 100% confirmed unless something happens that renders us unable to host them. Thorn rehab will take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Same deal with Rose rehab - 6 EST weekdays, 3 EST weekends. Rose Rehab will be in the Sparrow Corp briefing room. To get there you simply enter the mansion, go up the stairs in the foyer, take a right and head down the hallway, and take the first right you get to. It will be obvious. Most trainers might directly teleport you to the classroom to save you the long walk. Rose Rehab will be a lecture that takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes. They will simply review basic lore, ethics, diplomacy and information you need to know so we don't need to explain it to you later on. You will then be tested individually as well as interviewed so we can get an idea of what kind of person you are and if any special accommodation need to be made for you as you serve us. You are expected to be honest in this interview - and I am dead serious. Any personality flaws will NOT HARM YOUR CHANCES OF PASSING, IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM. We need you to let us know so we can help you work through them. If you lie and cause us problems later on when these flaws rear their ugly head against our knowledge, well, that's a problem. Upon passing the test you will be directed to disciplus to receive your two badges (this is merely because disciplus hosts the badges in question, no additional testing will be held there for rose rehab) Thorn Rehab is a bit more intense than a lecture. Thorn rehab will likely be the hurdle many will face. Thorn will have TWO SEPARATE SESSIONS. Each session can take up to 45 minutes. One for Strength and one for Discipline. Some people will do both but don't expect that. Ask your instructor beforehand what they have planned for that day so you don't show up to a session you don't need. For strength training you will be subjected to combat drills, firing ranges and tactic advice. We'll give everyone a pretest to see if you can skip the lessons and move on or if you need to stay behind and be taught. Those who qualify to skip a lesson out of combat skill will need to stay for the tactics portion though because no matter how good you are, you don't know our tactics. You aren't psychic. Upon the end of the lesson you will be tested. Those who pass the basic test will get their strength badge. Discipline sessions will call for basic stuff like how to behave in front of each other, how to perform on the field, how to listen and communicate better and the like. You may not qualify to skip this. This won't take as long so don't really worry. At the end you will be tested. Upon receiving the four badges you will be given a profile in our database based off the strengths we witnessed on your tests and interviews. You will then be set to the rank we feel necessary and your career in Frostaria begins! ~~==PROMOTIONS==~~ Upon advancing past Conscript by completing rehab you will be given one of three ranks: 1: Soldier 2: Scout 3: Guard This rank will reflect on how well you tested. You may always retest if you wish to try for a higher rank but it's frankly pointless as earning it is much easier. Note that if we need space to let in people who haven't tested yet when you retest you will be removed to make room. So now you're officially a Frostarian. Congratulations! Now, how will you go back earning your way all the way to to Vindicator? Through our brand new system: The Prestige System. You will earn four kinds of Prestige: sP, dP, hP, kP. You guessed it: Strength, Discipline, Honor and Knowledge prestige. You will have a maximum of 30 prestige in each area. You will earn from testing a maximum of 10 prestige immediately in any area, but earning a 10 is very rare. Your highest prestige count will be known as your "Career Prestige". You will have 4 careers in one category. Based on the amount of prestige you have based off your career, the official title of it will change. It will be explained in detail further down. ==CAREER== Your career will affect what you do to get promoted. Your career title is as follows: HONOR: 1-10 - Socialite 11-19 - Candidate 20 - 29 - Politician 30 - Senator DISCIPLINE: 1-10 - Law Student 11-19 - Public Defender 20-29 - Lawyer 30 - Judge STRENGTH: 1-10 - Rookie 11-19 - Troop 20-29 - Tactician 30 - Commander KNOWLEDGE: 1-10 - Student 11-19 - Teacher 20-29 - Scholar 30 - Professor These titles only hold roleplay value and nothing more. Your roleplay profession doesn't need to be exactly what is stated but you should definitely try and base it around what you have. Your career will change if you gain higher prestige in one area than another. Whichever prestige area you get to 30 in first will be your career permanently. You can change it if you ask an admiral and they grant you permission, granted you have 30 in another area. How these affect promotions will be explained further down. ==ADVANCING IN RANKS== To advance between ranks 2-7 you will earn prestige. It's very simple, like a basic point system. Your total prestige will be added up for this, based off of what you had when you first entered. For example, if you had 19 prestige upon entering with the following scores: H-5 K-6 D-3 S-5 You would be expected to have 25 prestige total to rank up. Every rank is earned for every 6 prestige you get. Each rank however as a minimum you must meet. 3- 16 4- 22 5- 27 6- 30 7- 42 So even if you earn 6 prestige you must meet the minimums. This encourages those who barely passed the starter test to really kick it up a gear. This helps us allocate you to a more deserving rank faster - if you lack for skill you make up for it in hard work, and vice versa (but even if you're skilled you gotta work! Don't party yet!) Upon reaching rank 7 you will start preparing for your milestone rank. Your career is where this finally comes into play - whatever your career is will determine what milestone rank you get. To be put into a milestone rank you must have at least a 20 in your career and 10's all across the board in other areas. Upon reaching this number PM an admiral and your milestone begins. ==THE PRESTIGIOUS RANK 8 - THE MILESTONE RANKS== There are 4 separate milestone ranks but all are the same in terms of power. You will not need to go through all 4 - just 1. This is where your life as a soldier ends and you begin your transition into the prestigous "glory ranks", whom have close contact to the high ranks and even me. To pass your milestone rank you must get a full 30 points in your career prestige. Once completed you will finally be tested, personally, at a time you personally set with an admiral. A complete 1v1 test on your area. And then if you pass - congratulations! You move on and are set to rank 9. If you fail, however, you will lose 3 prestige and need to reearn it. This will encourage you to reimmerse yourself in the area and work harder to get good enough to pass the test. You will also need to wait 3 days after your test to try again. ==9-11 THE GLORY RANKS== Earning glory ranks is like nothing you have EVER been through. It will be a rough time full of trials and hard work but with great reward at the end. A promotion in the glory ranks requires that you get a 30 in a non-career area and past the corresponding test. It's like your milestone rank but it encourages you to branch out of your comfort zone and improve. However, what if you REALLY, just REALLY can't do it? Say you're disciplined, diplomatic and a good fighter but you just can't grasp the lore? Well, this is earned through the Service Star system. You may opt to try for a service star in an area you already reached full 30 in. Upon opting your prestige for that area will be set to a certain code: "0s" Where normally it was 30. It is basically your prestige points with an 's' for 'star' at the end to let admirals know you willingly reset the points but your rank is earned, this prevents a demotion. You will reearn your 30 points in that area to get to "30s". Not having the prestige is totally fine, you will not lose your rank. You still have 30 prestige regardless of how close you are to your star. Upon reaching a service star, you get a rank up without needing to test. You may earn unlimited stars, and each consecutive one will be marked with this code: "0s2" "0s3" Basically, this: PRESTIGE, S FOR STAR, NUMBER OF STAR YOU'RE TRYING TO EARN So, if you had 22 prestige towards your star and you had 4 stars previously, it will say "22s5" Rank 11 is the last Glory rank. ==THE COUNCIL RANKS== So you're rank 11. What do you do now? You're at the last rank! It's only special ranks from here on! Admirals and Great Admirals are the most trusted members I know personally. You can earn this by working hard for the group and not for yourself. I know i'm trying to make everything clear and on paper but the trust and bond it takes to be an admiral can't be put on paper. Marshal is an exceptions. Marshals may shout and train freely. To be a marshal, you can be trusted and moved up or you can earn it. To be a marshal you must earn 5 stars total. You can bypass knowing me personally that way. Admirals have no bypass. ==DIVISIONS== RAT has four official "divisions". Divisions are reserved for members who meet special requirements. Divisions have many benefits such as benefits in game in some places, extra recognition, easier contact with high ranks and special division only events. The four divisions are as follows: Honors - Honors is the one of the two "rose" divisions, the other being Scholars. Honors are reserved for the loyal and kind members of RAT. They serve as guides and help run the group. We will always run big reforms through honors to get their opinion as we trust it most. Honors is currently ran by Great Admiral HippieVanz. Entrance requirements are at his discretion. His post with the requirements will be listed in the group description. Scholars - Scholars is the division in charge of production and enrichment of Frostarian canon. Scholars is one of the easier divisions to join - however they do not receive many in game benefits. Scholars are rewarded with contributing to the creative process of developing Frostarian lore and stories that involve it. As you prove yourself in it you will eventually get to a rank where you can contribute to Frostarian lore with great freedom, helping weave the complex story of the Frostarians who turned their icy refugee planet into a futuristic metropolis. Scholars is currently ran by Admiral DragonofTime. Entrance requirements are at her discretion. A post outlining requirements will be listed in the group description. Immortals - Immortals is the "Thorn" division of RAT. They are the most disciplined and skilled fighters we have in RAT. Immortals is a very cutthroat and competitive division but with it holds some of the best benefits in RAT, second only to Sparrow Corp. Immortals are expected to always be on the top of their game, and no immortal will ever be able to get lucky once and stay. Immortals is currently ran by Great Admiral cj10127. Entrance requirements are strictly at his discretion. A post outlining requirements will, again, be listed in the group description. Sparrow Corp - Sparrow Corp is the most prestigious and powerful division in RAT. It is the shadow government in charge of Frostaria and is famous for espionage, tactics and technology development. Sparrow Corp does not serve just one purpose - it serves many. This division is currently ran by Grand Admiral ColourTheory. Entrance requirements are at my personal discretion. They will be listed on the group description in a forum post. ==DIRECTORSHIP== The directorship is the governing body of RAT. The directorship has 12 spots within it, 3 spots related to each of the Frostarian Four. Since the nature of the directorship is always changing the guide for it will be located separate from this one. Directorship authority chain goes as follows: Admiral>Admiral Director>Great Admiral>Great Admiral Director>Grand Admiral ==EARNING PRESTIGE== Instant Opportunities: * = Only eligible for reward once a day. ** = Only eligible for reward once a week. *** = Only eligible for reward twice a week. **** = Only eligible for reward once. STRENGTH: 1****: Complete the training obby and earn the badge. 1/2*: Participate in an organized raid and do well. 1/2*: Participate in an organized training and do well. 1/2*: Win at Borealis twice. 2***: Participate in an organized invasion and actively participate in 3 wins. 3**: Participate in an organized invasion and actively participate 5 wins. 3: Get accepted by a rehab professor and assist them with training when needed. Only one or two per rehab session. DISCIPLINE: 1*: Complete a discipline training drill. 1/2: Behave well in a raid. As well as all the same point amounts for applying proper discipline during any strength prestige opportunity with the exception of the obstacle course. HONOR: 1*: Complete an honor training drill. 2**: Gain us an alliance with a 150+ member clan. 4**: Gain us an alliance with a 500+ member clan. 5**: Gain us an alliance with a 1,000+ member clan. 6**: Gain us an alliance with a 5,000+ member clan. 7**: Gain us an alliance with a 10,000+ member clan or a clan we deem "selective" and worth that amount. (ALL OF THESE ARE INTERCHANGEABLE WHEN LIBERATING A VAKTOVIAN INFLUENCED OR SHUTDOWN CLAN, AND THAT CAN BE EARNED ALONGSIDE GAINING US AN ALLIANCE. YOU MAY ONLY CLAIM ANY OF THESE REWARDS ONCE A WEEK - THAT MEANS WE ONLY ACCEPT ONE ALLIANCE YOU GAIN US A WEEK) KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge prestige is given through the lore division or for assisting in the production of canon. Prestige amounts will be based on the quality of work. See the lore division guide for these opportunities. ==LOSING PRESTIGE== This is seriously simple enough. Just don't mess up in that area and you won't lose prestige. It does not require going in depth. ==CLOSING COMMENTS== Yes, the system is very intimidating due to how in depth it goes but Marshals, Admirals and Great Admirals are all there to help you out. Good luck! -CT ((THE GUIDE IS STILL BEING FINE TUNED WHILE WE FINISH THE REST. ANY COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED. EXPECT THE REST OF THE SYSTEM OUT SOON.))
