ok, so, most of you will probably know what I'm talking about here
use this on someone and because of a scripting error your unfortunate target will be unable to respawn until they rejoin the game
so basically, as it is ROBLOX is selling the power to kick as a rather cheap gear? riiiight...
let's fix it pls |

surprise surprise, I sent this directly to ROBLOX via mail first, and this is where they told me to post it

If the bug is this big, they should take the gear down and repair it. |

I haven't noticed that bug before because all of my targets do respawn still, but what I hate is how they programmed it against their own game engine. There is some bug in the engine where if you make someone's character something that has been in the Workspace for a while, you will force respawn (well for me at least). And whenever I use it on someone within the past month, I respawn right afterwards. They should try to fix that as well. |

the reason for that is because roblox recently broke character changing too, so that when your character changes to something else you respawn 5 secs later as if you had died

I've just met you and I dislike you already. If you messaged the ROBLOX Community, wouldn't it seem rather pointless to post it on a forum that the Users use? S&I is a place where we suggest things for ROBLOX to add to make it better, that's the description of it. Try telling ROBLOX directly in another way, because posting a forum for Users will get you no where.

listen big boy, I understand that nothing is ever going to happen about this because roblox NEVER EVER reads S&I, but seeing as though I was told specifically by an admin to post here about it it might as well be worth a shot, however I will be trying a different approach shortly anyway |

You do realize that I've been on Suggestions & Ideas for a VERY long time? Your little "tone" is very irritating and you really should stop it. ROBLOX admins do read S&I and sometimes reply. The only reason they don't read all of them, is the fact that people post the same bad ideas over and over. If you message ROBLOX, the odds are that it's probably skimmed by someone and they look for an automatic response. So, if you said "Hey ROBLOX I have an idea!" they could see the "idea" word and tell you to post it here for our response. Seriously, do you think ROBLOX would actually read your idea and tell you to post it here?

Age has barely anything to do with death. Not to mention, I never mentioned my age, but I did mention that I have been on S&I longer, which can only mean I know more.
Anyways, I love people who only respond to one part of a valid argument. Since, they obviously realize that they were wrong but can't admit it. Then they continue to try and fight, so no one knows that they're wrong, even though we all know.

ok, if you really think I should continue this argument in such a stilted way let me just open notepad so I can copy+paste your post...
so far I have recieved hand-written replies by roblox on all of my messages to them, and my message did not contain the word "idea" in it at all, infact I was very specific about my wording so as to make sure that it couldn't be auto-directed to one of their pre-typed messages
my thought exactly, though, was that they have got to be kidding me when they say that it would be better if I posted it here, so I can give you that
however, almost all of the replies I have seen by an admin on S&I have been regarding a post being locked due to being off topic or innapropriate, meaning that they don't REALLY read the good suggestions, just watch out for the ones that don't belong, correct? it is possible that they just read and don't reply, but that means they aren't doing anything about it either...
I'm sure it's not too time-consuming to just avoid the posts with titles that sound like something they've heard a thousand times before, correct? |

There's another site, I forget what it's called, though. It's basically S&I for ROBLOX, but the admins will see it.
Also, admins do post on good threads and sometimes will even support the thread! I made an idea about weight differences in bricks and an admin responded saying that it was a very good idea and gave some other information on what they planned to create for ROBLOX. It's hard to get a Mod to reply, but they do. S&I is really for users, but there is a sight for other things, I just can't remember the name...

It WAS called uservoice. But they moved their efforts to S&I, which is why mods have been replying to threads lately. |

Really? I thought UserVoice worked great. The only issue was the rating problem. It kind of took away from it. Anyways, I guess they do that now, sorry I didn't know about that. |
