Crosby: It Wont Erase

Apparently Star player Sidney Crosby talked during a conference about the lockout, and how it won't "Erase" the season. Agreed, but considering that a month or two in and the best we can go is Re embursements on APARTMENT suites and some labor issues, i can only imagine the progress in few months christmas time. Your thoughts on the NHLPA, ego issues, anything?

Oh no... I fully anticipate the season to be erased. I have no faith at all in a deal getting done...

And Why? 04-05 had some pretty damaging effects, only of the only few things to come positive of that experience was a a salary cap, not that it does anything to millionares like Ovechkin,Dipetro,etc. Its good to have it there, but sometimes the NHLPA , and well , even the NHL need to remove the egos.

Neither side wants to push. Owners just flat out refuse too and the players did in the last lockout so they can't afford to give into the owners again. Both sides KNEW a lockout was well on its way yet they procrastinated till late August to actually start talks that since then have shown ZERO signs of progress.

Season erased...No way the NHL or the NHLPA will give an inch to get what they want.

The NHL wants a big market, and they are going to lose some big names, the few names that they have, to other leagues or possibly overseas leagues. If anything, this season will be like 1994-1995.
