No mods can fix Skyrim, it's a dull, lifeless shell especially when compared with game worlds like Oblivion and Morrowind.

I find Skyrim to be boring simplybecause nobody'll shut up about the memes that came from it. As for the "epic car crashes and explosions and flying over buildings that are collapsing!?!?!" It's a Medieval Fantasy game. I figured that you'd know none of that would be in it simply by the box art.

@8 it's sad if a game needs mods just to be good.

It's fine without mods, The colors are just dull, and the UI is bad if your playing on PC.

Um, who said we didn't like it because the colors were dull?

The colors aren't that dull. And even then, the landscape is still beautiful IMO Just look at the Rift hold, it's not just snow and ice

@Over Actually, after you defeat Alduin, Odahviing will come to your service with a shout at any time and people in town, mostly guards, will comment on you saving Skyrim.

lol people who think skyrim is 'unimmersive' or 'worse than oblivion' skyrim is incredibly immersive with or without mods and it is VASTLY superior to oblivion because of that aspect

>skyrim is incredibly immersive how is it immersive? when you're the fighters guild, thieves guild, dark brotherhood, and mages guild leader guards still say dumb stuff like "Aren't you that new Companion? What do you do, fetch the mead?". It's not immersive to run around as the savior of the world and leader of all guilds but still be talked down on by common guards, nor it is immersive to walk around grey and bloom hills then get attacked by a dragon that the average player can kill in a few hits by mid game.

Mods can make it REAL fun sometimes. Vanilla Skyrim is lackluster. There's a bunch of mods out there, though, that are really fun. I CAN'T MAKE AN ARGUMENT. YAAAAY. -={OT's Abysswalker}=-

imperiatus oblivion is even worse because every character looks like they want to kill you with their gaze every other game in this current era is about as immersive as a block of solid lead if you're not getting immersed in skyrim then you're clearly refusing to let yourself get immersed in it - the fact that you refuse to acknowledge anything but the fact that sometimes the guards lines are counter-intuitive pretty much proves that
