Re-post and lock

I'm suggesting a new option for re-posting threads. Instead of having to copy and paste what you wrote, they should add a button that says "Edit and Re-post". What this does is it re-opens the thread in the template, everything is there. You are free to edit it. BUT when you re-post, it locks the old thread so the user doesn't have to worry about replies. BUT there is limits: You can only re-post every 30 minutes The old thread is viewable AND reportable You have to revise any criticism you have gotten, like issues, pros and cons. That sort of stuff. You have to do part of this, otherswise if you did none of it. You can be reported for spam.

I like it, but I recommend a small revision. Instead of 30 minutes, lets have it at some number, greater than 5, hours. So we don't get "Repost, repost, repost, repost" like I have seen done here at some points in time. The most recent being an anti-bullying thread. ~>"S＆Iの非公式なボス"の一つ。<~

There's already the "Post revisions and reposts 24 hours apart" "Rule" already in place, and honestly; I think that is a good time. 5 hours is a fine minimum time, 24 makes a good maximum. So... ... I went rambling on. Bleh. You now have my support. ~>"S＆Iの非公式なボス"の一つ。<~
