Et toi? I think if I found some good French speakers I could expand my vocabulary up a bit, since the grammar is quite easy.

@klkl: "Je ne le comprends pas". ("I don't understand it/that") Saying your sentence with the correct grammar: "Je ne le procure pas. "

It is, no sarcasm. The hardest part is knowing how the hell to pronounce a word when you see it written...

#81413545Saturday, November 03, 2012 9:18 PM GMT

@king: Nah, that probably is something for you, because of your german background (?). And what do you mean with conjugation? There are many forms, be a litte more specific please.

French and English have the worst spelling systems, because they're not phonetic and isn't always consistent. An example would be 'le' and 'les': The former is pronounced "luh", but the latter is pronounced "leh". So just by adding an S, it changes the sound of the E, and the S isn't pronounced at all.

I actually like them, probably just me xD I pronounce les as lé // lee (lä in german) and le as lè // lù(h). :3 You'll just have to get used to it I suppose c: Btw, you didn't respond to the "conjugation" part :3

Except for -re verbs, it's easy to remember what the conjugations are. Je parle, tu parles, il parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, il parlent. Along with pronunciation, "parle", "parles", and "parlent" all sound the same, event though the endings are totally different...

@king: Yeah, but you can hear wich person conjugates to the verb, or hear it from the verb itself: Il est / ils sont elle est / elles sont Je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, ils/elles parlent.... Same as in Dutch and German: Zij/ze is (she is), Zij/ze zijn (They are). (Wich are the only conjugations that need the verb to know wich form you mean). Sie ist, Sie sind, sie sind. (No need to translate that...)

I didn't mean that the subject was unclear, I was helping to prove a point I previously stated.
