Yes, this will benefit NBC'ers more than BC'ers.
Anyways, every time I want to test a custom weapon I have to reset my 2000x2000 place to test out a tool or script for this game. BC'ers do not have this trouble since they have multiple places; they can just reserve 1 place to test stuff and have other places as actual games.
So here's the suggestion:
Everyone gets an extra place.
Before "hve u evven red WNTS nub" let me specify some things about this extra place.
-By default, it has a menu where you can select gear from the catalog and it goes into your backpack.
-By default, it has a respawning test dummy.
-There is a toolbox where you can select your own models as well as free models.
-Chat is enabled.
-This place cannot be edited in Studio or Build mode.
-Other players cannot visit or see this place.

Agreed,But for BC'ers and TBC'ers,they might run out of places,so I think this should be added for BC'ers and TBC'ers. :) |

Build tab.
Create a new place, make the current one inactive, activate the new one; test.
Make new place inactive, make old one active again; done.
Or
Studio-> new -> Spawn a brick -> Resize is to desired size -> Add in weapon to test to starterpack -> Test>Play solo -> Test tool/script/whatever -> Fix tool/script/whatever -> Save as model -> Exit studio.

Not quite sure why you want this (I am probably misreading the reason), unless you really want to, you do not have to reset you place every time you wish to test something. |

If your only place is a game with a huge map and many scripts it takes quite a while to load up. I'd like faster load speed so I can test small changes more easily. |

I saw it and that is certainly one way of avoiding a place reset every time you want to test a weapon. But it sounds to me like Icey thinks that it is necessary to (or just wants to) reset a place in order to test a weapon, and wants to have a sepparate place specifically made for the purpose of weapons testing. There are two solutions that I see
1) Your idea of actually creating a new place
2) Not reseting it at all and just testing the weapon on the current map (the most logical of our choices)
I'm not sure what is so important about weapons testing that it requires a blank slate.

-loading a huge map every time
-resetting the place once an hour
I feel like I'm not being clear enough, is there something I'm not explaining well? |

Your first Suggestion is already in place. :-D
(My friend xkiller777 has TBC and over 40 place. Only 25 are active.)
I do support your second Suggestion. It will be nice to easily test Gear, Hats, Bodies, Clothing, etc. :-)

Jacob has a good point. Roblox won't add a place specifically for testing if you can simply just do what Jacob pointed out. |
