I know this has been suggested more times than place visits of SONICTHEHEDGEHOGXX's hotel, but there is a need for this button.
I am a perfectionist myself organizing everything down to nothing. I hate when there is a cluster of messages. Not only does it bother me an enormous amount, this probably takes up unnecessary room. Imagine the amount of messages ever sent since ROBLOX included the "Archive" button.
ROBLOX please bring the "Delete button" back. You can keep the Archive button, but for us perfectionists, who want to be basic and boring, please listen to our needs.

^Then you took an arrow in the knee. Sorry, had to be done.

I find the Archive feature to be useful, but in case of chainmail, this should be brought back. Support. |

I support, I'm tired of having people PM me with junk that I never want to see ever again. |

Yeah, but the reason why they don't let you delete anything is because they check through the personal messages if you were reported for one of them. It'll show up in the messages, and they will give justice. No support. |

Stop acting like an over protective parent. All messages that are sent on ROBLOX stay on ROBLOX. This includes the messages that are deleted by a player. When the delete button was an official "feature" of the message, and you delete a message, the message will be in ROBLOX's message storage system, just not indirectly in the players message box.
Your response brings another question to my mind. If a player reports content in a message, and the person who said the inappropriate content, deletes the whole message itself from his box, ROBLOX still has the reporter's message box to look at. If the reporter also deletes his message ROBLOX doesn't need the message itself to do action. When you report someone, a screenshot will be sent to the devs. In conclusion, the message itself isn't needed to be put to work. |

Rumored by some users, they removed this option due to parental restrictions, or something that involved parents being unaware of their child's messages.
Regardless, I support. I understand why it had to be done, but for everyone to be affected by it is something I cannot stand for. |

They are adding a new feature soon that will remove messages in your archives after 7 days.

Really? Well, whatever, its decent. Atleast ROBLOX will delete 7+ day old messages.

That's unlikely, many people store important messages in their archive and keep unnecessary ones in their main inbox.
Unless you have proof, I don't believe you. |
