I hyperextended my knee last night in my highschool teams playoff game. Do you have any good way I could treat it?

Another question. What exactly is a hyperextended knee. I know how it's caused but I dont know exactly what it is.

Your knee extended out of its normal range of motion. It will take a while for you to fully recover. Don't do squats or else your knee could pop.
