|
"fuzzy blueberry sorbet"
The fuzzy part makes me think of peaches.
Boil two pureed peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of blueberries
boil until reduced slightly
Pour into a prepared ice cream freezer, and fill the edges with ice and rock salt.
(The more rock salt you add, the quicker it freezes)
When the sorbet is set, scoop out and serve!
Garnish with blueberries and mint leaves |
|
|
A banana split with exactly two scoops of chocolate and one scoop of strawberry with three bananas, all of which have to be cut up in halves, with seventeen red sprinkles on each one, with fourteen green sprinkles on the fifth half. |

"deep fried ice cream"
Mmm... A Mexican delicacy!
Crush a few cups of corn flakes, and mix with 1/2 cup of sugar, and a few tablespoons of cinnamon.
Scoop vanilla ice cream into 1/2 cup balls.
Dip ice cream balls into the cornflake mixture, and then roll in an egg wash (The egg gets it nice and crispy)
Freeze the coated ice cream in a freezer until rock hard. Several hours.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 350 degrees.
Quickly place the ice cream in the oil, and immerse for 5 seconds.
Let the oil drain from the ice cream on a rack.
Serve with whipped cream and cherries!

"ice cream flambé"
slice up a few cups of fruit
pour the fruit, along with kirsch in a saute pan
cook until syrupy
Pour the syrup over vanilla ice cream, and carefully light with a lighter. |
|
|
would ice cream flambé actually taste any different from regular ice cream |
|
|
|
Wait, skip that
Dulce' de leche bannana mint pudding :3 |
|
|
"beef filet with foie gras and rocket"
Saute steak in herb butter until brown and slightly pink on the inside.
Spread foie gras on buttered baguette slices, and serve next to the steak.
"would ice cream flambe taste different than regular ice cream?"
Yes, it would.
The kirsch would give it a sweet cherry flavor, and the fruit slices will accompany it also.
"Dulce' De leche"
You know, there's actually a VERY easy way of making this!
You just boil a can of Sweetened Condensed Milk for 2 hours.
Open, and you have Dulce de Leches!
:) |
|
|
"Dulce de leches with banana mint pudding"
Combine 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of flour and salt in a saucepan.
Add 4 egg yolks
Stir in a cup of heavy cream, and a cup of milk.
Cook until the mixture reaches 180 degrees.
When it thickens, stir in some vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies.
Beat 5 egg whites in a bowl, with a pinch of cream of tartar and 1/2 cup of sugar
Layer the pudding in a glass bowl, alternating with sliced bananas
When you get to the top of the bowl, pipe a big swirl of the meringue over the pudding.
Bake until meringue is evenly browned.
Pour a generous amount of Dulce de Leches over the meringue
Enjoy!

"live squid with kimchi"
Eating the squid whole and alive would be very unhealthy and dangerous, but you could cut it while it's alive, and quickly saute it. The squid will be cooked, but the nerves will still be active, so it squirms around on your plate.
A dish like this would go well with some kimchi dumplings, which are made by mixing equal parts ground beef, chopped kimchi, and chopped tofu. You fill wonton wrappers with this filling, and boil it until it floats. |

|
I've seen this method of cooking squid before, it's neat, the tentacles like squirm and wiggle everywhere |
