All in the title.
And for my stories:
-My Grandpa served on the USS Lexington (CV-16) as a gunner in WWII.
-My Great-Grandpa trained to be a B-25 pilot, but WWII ended before he went to combat.
-My other Grandpa fought in Korea in the Signal Corp.

I have relatives who fought in the Civil War and the American Revolutionary War.
My uncle commanded a submarine and just recently retired from the army to head a company that builds military technology. |

my great-grandfather was a fireman in WWII. he was originally training to be a tailor for a living when WWI broke out. they couldn't take him because he had a badly broken foot at the time. they hired him to make parachutes instead, for the british, canadian, and american forces.
after that he became a fireman, and when WWII broke out, he helped put out fires around the world. (he was deployed) |

My grandfather was in the airforce, and he got to meet the president, from almostn being at the top of non combat!(stuff like radar) |

My Great-Grandad served during WWII in the Army, hewas on the Front Lines for most of the War. And he and his Three Brothers, one joined the Army, two the Navy. And they all survived. |

My great grandfather served in WWII. He was a 1st lieutenant that fought in Europe. During one battle one of his soldiers stood up in the trench during a battle. My great grandfather punched him so that he would fall into the trench and not get shot. This act cost him to be demoted to a private. |
