All it does is reduce the maximum length of a chat, and censor the most innocuous words, such as "crap", "jerk", "Minecraft", and "Blockland". Last I checked, those were nowhere near profanities. |

It censors rude words, and competition games for a reason...
MC = Roblox competitor not friend...also BL is one to...
Also parents don't want their kids on a game where older users are pretty much using those words to harass them.

Old chat system was perfectly fine, as is commonly said where I live: "Don't fix what ain't broken.". The chat system before was not broken, and worked almost perfectly (With the exception of lack of text-wrap). I feel the moderators should work more on things that cause major differences that are GOOD and HELPFUL and perfect those, rather than come up with CRAPPY and DETRIMENTAL updates and force them upon us without any consent, notification, or precedent what-so-ever.

Those quotes are godly in terms of peoples reactions to certain actions. The moderators have completely ignored them it seems.

Sadly, since Roblox dislikes to acknowledge mistakes, and make changes to broken updates, this probably will not be changed, but I still agree that the chat system needs to be thrown out or at least have an option given as to weather or not to use it. |

its annoying, it takes up more space than the old chat system for what I can only assume is not apparent reason and combined with the new backpack gui and the player list you have much less screen space now. You can't talk about competition ( which are more likely to be a problem if they implement updates such as these). The auto-filter is not bad and I don't dis-agree with that part so long as it restricts swearing and swearing alone. This whole update was not needed and not wanted and I would perfer if they would give us an update where I could anchor stuff without being in the sudio.

Yeah, get rid of it. I can't say somthing was blown up because roblox censored blow. Freaking inconpicuous words, being used innocently are being freaken cencored, because of trolls. We're getting reported more often because of trolls pushing us. I honesty feel roblox is becoming more troll oriented. And if my phrase is being censored, then I don't want to get banned. These "kids" can't unsee a curse word, but when all that's left is empty chat space, there was no harm done in the first place. |

I support. The new chat system was never on a gametest and should be gotten rid of forever. It is glitchy and was a unneeded update. |

Thing is, the old chat system was dated. Seriously. It's like, the one GUI function that ROBLOX had never updated. I don't know about the new chat, but... yeah. |
