Chinese letters tend to be more complex than Japanese, though Japanese letters are not to be mistaken for the even more simple letters of the Korean langauge.

Chinese is an extremely analytical language (it has hardly any inflections). Japanese, on the other hand, has highly inflected verbs and stuff.
