It's easy to learn, and is spoken all over the world, so if someone doesn't know English, you can still communicate with them.

Though Esperanto is extremely simple, even down to pronunciation, making it easy common grounds.

I'd rather learn a harder language... more of a challenge, you know? The harder it is, the better you improve at learning other languages including your own.

Esperanto's a good first language, and still a good one to know. And sinii, if you want to learn a challenging language then try Xhosa, since it's spoken more than kung/xu

just google Xhosa language learning and other forms like learn Xhosa and then go on youtube and google with it
