The next version will be a bit more organized.
I know that everyone is tired of dying and getting killed by bandits and by other players, even with the new "Group System" Gusmanak has added. So I am making this forum thread to help new players and players that want to survive longer without getting killed by players, or for people who just want to survive period.
In every server there is at least 1 bandit. May not seem like it, but there always is. Even if everyone says there are no bandits, always suspect one, unless it is a server full of your friends helping each other out.
The reason people kill other players is because they want to be the best in the game and have the best stats. Due to this, they are starting to lie to get people to come so they can kill them, so the new "Group System" that was added as many ups and downs. For example:
Ups:
- Group members can find each other easier.
- Group members can not kill each other.
- Easier to locate your other fellow group members.
Downs:
- It can give off player position to bandits that you thought were not bandits.
- People can join the group, but then leave and thus enabling them to kill you.
- People can form a bandit group and go out and kill everyone.
- You have no idea the person you are adding is a bandit.
Here are some tips to help avoid bandits and a few other tips.
Tip #1: The top way to survive is to be alert and always be on your toes. A zombie or person can pop out at anytime and kill you.
Tip #2: Bandits always try to get higher stats. To avoid being killed by them, watch who you trust.
Tip #3: Remember that not all bandits will have a bandit mask, they can press the "=" key to take off the bandanna.
Tip #4: Watch who you group with because they can get your location and come and kill you.
Tip #5: Only trust people you know.
Tip #6: Bandits will try to convince you to come to them even if they say they are not a bandit. They will try to say things like "I have a gun for you." , "I have a bag for you." , "I have food and drinks you can have." etc.
Tip #7: If you team up or group with a random person you do not know, just be alert and cautious.
Tip #8: Always leave your group list open, thus giving you the power to see if someone leaves the group, or you get kicked out of a group enabling the other person to kill you.
Tip #9: If you are a group leader, keep track who is in your group to avoid them from trying to secretly leaving it thus allowing them to kill you and your other members.
Tip #10: Always travel with someone else. This gives you the ability to gather more food, drinks, find weapons, ammo and killing zombies faster.
Tip #11: Traveling as a group or with someone you trust increases your chance of survival when gathering food or even just moving around the map to explore, your teammate might see something you don't and can possible save your life.
Tip #12: Most of the bandits hang around in the forest around the bunker and also in Delve + it's Airfield.
Tip #13: Choose where you are located when you are leaving wisely! You might end up leaving where when you come back there are zombies all around you, there are people around that might kill you, and for food. You don't want to be somewhere were there is rarely any food or drinks when you might only have enough food and drink to survive half of a day/night.
Tip #14: Not all bandits are bad. Most people become a bandit by protecting them self.
Tip #15: If someone kills you, do not rage, just simply find a new server and start over if you can not get back to your old items.
Tip #16: All bad bandits will say that they killed because they had no choice. This is false, they just want to gain your trust so they can kill you and take your items.
Tip #17: Do not kill another player if you do not want to be killed.
Tip #18: Make a group and a team of friends to play with. This helps you ensure that you will not be killed by a teammate or a "betrayer".
Tip #19: Try to keep at least 2-3 sets of food and drinks in your inventory. This can help when you are traveling and will decrease your chance of having to stop to gather more food which increases your chance to die.
Tip #20: You never know who you can trust.
Tip #21: Try to keep a few mags for each gun (Primary and Secondary). Letting yourself run our of ammo is bad and because of it, you now have no protection.
Tip #22: Never give your location to people you don't know, it's a way they can yet again kill you.
Tip #23: Don't make fun of someone when they die because you never know that you can get everything you need and end up dying. Karma.
Tip #24: The game can get you very tense from the suspense, take a break every now and then to calm down so you don't make a mistake.
Tip #25: Record all the Bandits that you see and make a list of bandits so you know who to trust.
Tip #26: When you team up with a random person, do not think they will not leave the group nor kick you out to kill you, expect the unexpected.
Tip #27: Loot regular towns until you find a compass and a map. (GPS would help too, but it not needed).

Tip #28: Try to find a map and GPS as soon as you can, even a compass, or even all 3!
Tip #29: Military Airfield (MA) has some great loot! But be ready for a challenge!
Tip #30: Military Zombies are wearing a military uniform! They have more speed and a longer detection range! So be ready for a challenge.
Tip #31: When you are in a group, and you loot. Find a safe place (Although no where is safe) and make a base with building block you find!
Tip #32: When you gather loot for your group, make sure when you drop extra food, drinks, ammo, guns, utilities, bags, that you click "Drop to store" the items will last for a longer time.
Tip #33: Watch out! The walls that you can build with so sometimes disappear with out warning! So make you have have extra!
Tip #34: Watch out! MK48s are one of the most powerful weapons and one of the hardest to find! The ammo for it is very hard to find but not as hard to find as trying to find the MK48 it's self.
Tip #35: Stay away from Amend and most big cities unless you have at least a Primary and a Secondary, most of the time there will be a lot of zombies and without the proper weaponry you can die and lose all your stats.

Tip #36: Be weary when using a Bloodbag. When you have red health use the blood bag but beware there is a two second window where you can still die in one hit, so be sure to hide when using a Bloodbag.

Tip #37: There are binoculars in teh game for a reason! Use them!
Tip #38: Never turn your back to someone you do not know.

a few more tips i got for the guide
when in a group of friends use a code like the phonetic alphabet (sorry if i misspelled it) it can save your life when bandits are online as long as they don't know the code.
and when your about to spawn don't just listen for walking listen to anything out of ordinary such as gunshots, footsteps faint and load due to ninja perk, and zombies attacking people this could save you from a spawn kill.
and the last one i can think of for now is to Server Hop often when soloing, either to get better loot without travelling or just to get into a secure place on a server without having to kill the people on the way in, what you can do is find a bandit base hop on another server then go in and hide hop back then kill the bandits in the base easy and without them knowing what hit them.

just remembered a good one lol
towns such as Mel Bide Thist and Rinset are good to live in for a day although they don't offer as much loot chances like Amend there alot esier to loot then the bigger ones with anywhere from 0-6 zombies maximum and low trafic rafte from latter spawns unless they either need the food and supplies or set up a base there, so hit the early and hit them often if you want to survive. |

Ik a tip... make sure the person can't shoot you in a window when ever you are looting a house with windows, that gives the person an advantage because the person can kill you easy since your head is facing the window.. |

Tips:
> DO NOT kill a zombie unless you absolutely have to.
> In case you all didn't know, the bunker in the forest can be dangerous for two reasons - ONE, as mentioned on the original post the BUNKER offers a LOT of armory and is considered a "hangout" of bandits, and TWO, NEVER visit this area during this time: 20:00-0:00. If you are at this place during THAT time, quickly LEAVE. Why? Be wary of Patient Zero - the one who "started" the apocalypse. If you didn't leave before the time strikes at 21:00, the TV in the last room will mysteriously light red. Your screen will start shaking without you moving the mouse and the screen will go black and back. After 21:00, the screen will go completely black and anyone who didn't leave (you are given a chance to vacate before that time) will receive a VERY SCARY scene. After the screen goes pitch black, The screen will RAPIDLY shake and red eyes will appear here and there. After all of this is done, the screen will return again and you are either dead or laying on the ground with 1% health left.
> I recommend staying away from the forest as it is filled with dangerous military zombies.
> Loot will respawn at around 7:00-12:00.
> DO NOT kill anybody on sight, they might form a group and hunt you down on revenge.
> If you are staying on a building with windows, be sure to block it with planks or any other building materials as they are vulnurable from gunshots.

Another good tip is be sure to take any kind of sd weapon you find no matter what so if you have a g18 or tec 9 or a really good gun and you find like a makarov sd (idk if possible) or a less strong Sd weapon take it
Also 3rd person is a good and better way
Always take stray mk48 ammo incase you find mk48
If traveling in group and about to loot some place make sure 1 person goes in first with the not as good weapon and the person with better weapon should cover him
Try to kill anyone you see if they have a mask do not question him or even stop and think about it just shoot |
