Whats particals?
A: particales are basicly what you see everywere. well in other games for that matter.
Particals can be made into anything, water, fire, light, smoke, sparkel, etc, anything you can think of(not mesh's of corse)
this idea could revolutionize roblox for the better. See games like BL use particales, and in ways you could not imagine.
this very idea could be really cool, you can do anything with it
How To Activat:
when building you go to the top right side of the screen, and there will be a little box with a cirucle, or square, or whater particales would look lie
then when you click it, a list would come up
WHAT ON IT:
-fire
-water
-smoke
-fireworks
-etc
you click one, and then a clear ball will appear that will start poreing the particales(NOTE: water might be abit messy).
then you put it ontop, or inside whatever, group it, and then you got particales in whatever you wont.
Something Cool:
this coule also be usfull for things like spells to make them look more real
-watter ripples and splashes
-(i know this is probobly wrong but...)Blood even(had to say it)
-darkness, instead of overlaping bricks
-the portal gun(the blue/red around portals, and the blue/red ball you shot
-smoke at like fog places(didnt know any)
-light(that what fire would give off)
-exsplotions(BIG one) they would look amazing
-super powers(like fire bolts, lightning, element patters, powerups, etc)
-jetpacks(the fire and smoke)
the possibilies are endless with this if you use it properly
please keep this thread alive, for i would like an admin to see this

Sometimes i want rain particles. To do that i have to use bricks, about 200 bricks falling down. The physics system will lag when 200 bricks are falling. Particles bypasses the physics system, reducing so much lag.
Also i think if particles lag the place, the particle system reduces the amount of particles to be displayed.. reducing even more lag. |

you can use it to make make things bricks cant do
-fire
-water
-smoke
-rain
-snow
-anything
roblox is all about creatiing
so why not create something to reduce a problem nobody likes

its basicly another way to make smoke, fire, rain, snow and stuff
this wont cause lag becuase roblox wouldnt just through it in
this is what would happen:
idea made>tested on roblox computers>thested through test servers>update>mainenece>then the idea
if they just gave it to use then it would cause lag
but if they make this they will make roblox so it can handel it |
