You get spyware from doing anything internet related. Just logging into the internet can get you spyware.

Although I can guarentee that it is true. My father is just as paranoid, if not more than your dad. He installed, and purchased (Who actualy buys software anymore) over eight different anti-virus, and spyware removers. He then runs them every day, and even unplugs our internet before bed so we don't get hacked. (While the computer is off?)

Wow shane, someone needs to give your dad a lesson in how internet works and how hacking works. For one thing, having more than one firewall running at once, can actually INCREASE your chances of being attacked, because they can interfere with each other and not work effectively. There isn't any spyware in Roblox. I've scanned the installer several times with the latest anti-virus software. You get spyware from turning on your internet, from visiting web pages, from playing MSN games, etc. You can hide behind as many bunkers and safeguards as you want. Doesn't mean you are safe. Computers bring an entirely new paradigm in attacking to the world. You can make as many anti-virus programs as you want, but the one difference is that a virus has a single programmer, while the anti-virus just runs a pre-determined set of instructions.

That's what I keep telling me dad, but he doesn't believe me. He also tihnks that if you use up a lot of space on your harddrive, viruses grow.
