both are extremely overrated
i had more fun with SR3 on consoles, and GTA IV on pc (there is NOTHING like mods in this game, i swear.) |

they are overrated, but still decent, I should say.
IMO they don't deserve the 10/10 scores everyone I meet give them, but they are good. |

GTA IV>Saints row the third
Saints row the third has way too many DLCs that adds few useless items,i prefer saints row 2
GTA IV win,but be prepare,your pc will gonna have good performance or it will lag hard |

They are both awesome but i believe GTA V will beat a saints row 4 or whatever if it comes out i will actually be pre-ordering gta v |

GTA IV over SR:TT
Once you do everything in SR:TT (which really doesn't take that long at all) you'll find yourself with literally nothing left to do. Sure, killing cops can be moderately fun, but for how long? 2 minutes? Co-Op is the only thing that offers extra change, but it's only good with friends.
But yeah, GTA IV has a better storyline, better characters, not as much humour as SR:TT has. But free roam multiplayer with friends is still good. |

I'm just not a fan of those sorts of games.
They are fun in multiplayer though.
I prefer medieval/fantasy games (Dark souls/oblivion/etc), or cartoony/unrealistic games (such as TF2) |

GTA IV. SR3 has too much tryhard humor, lacks the good gameplay and engaging world of GTA, worse graphics and animations, and doesn't have as large a modding community.

Literally in GTA IV.
ITS A FREE ROAM GAME.....THAT TAKES ITSELF SERIOUSLY. That's not really what free roam is about, 50% of theses posts are about how people like to goof off in GTA. In Saints Row it hands you the stuff to mess around, oh hey you want to land a jet on an old woman and swing a giant fist around? Oh, here you go! Oh and do it with just a dog mascot head on....it'll be fantastic.
In terms of fun - Saints row
In terms of story - neither, they're both terrible in that department. |
