Brick Ownership should be added in the game because it stops others from deleting your things and personal belongings and helps reduce the risk of sparked frustration, and arguments. From what I know, ROBLOX has never added this type of thing to enhance Building. Though it does little effects to other things such scripting, and so forth. So this is why BRICK OWNERSHIP should be added into the game. |

Well.
What about if you wanted a friend to help you build, and you ask him/her to reseize that wall?
If it does come into existence, there should be one thing, where you can friend's names alongside your own.
Support.

Series of trusts (Well, I would say Build Levels)
Build Level 1: You're not able to build on anyone's things
Build Level 2: You may only place bricks, but NOT change the other person's bricks
Build Level 3: You can delete, edit their color and do anything. At this point, you're able to remove bricks. But don't mess up. |

If you edit the tools and such, you can already do this with Lua. |

HMmm.
So where would you find these?
Inside the game, or in each brick?

It's usually a brick. Games can have settings for these if their purpose is to build something (Asking the host for permission won't work, if there is a certain zone you can build in) |

Interesting concept, an appreciated sentiment.
But how does one decipher "Ownership" and what happens if a you ask someone for assistance.

Send them a certain trust level obviously. |

But before you do so, make sure they come up with a response. |

First off all, ownership can only be gained by using a gui which is exactly like adding a friend in a server, by simply going up to their name, clicking and the gui should pop the LEFT, and it will show the 2 Trust levels (Obviously everyone gets Trust Level 1 where people can't build with eachother).
A trust level is basically like permission and you need at least Trust Level 2 in order to build onto other bricks. It would cut down on the low-quality builds slightly though. Also, I'm probably thinking the trust level goes back down to 1 IF you're friends with that person. But if you are, it stays the same. And whenever you leave the game, it should clear the bricks because we don't want remains of something that's not here anymore. So it has to be removed, OR be copied from the person you were building with.
And also from the comment above, don't misread genius. Because that makes a bad day for you. |
