Roblox Forum Needs More Moderators + Ghosts!

So I was browsing the Roblox wikia as you do and found myself on the Roblox staff list and noticed the alarmingly small amount of forum moderators. This forum is massive and needs a reasonably sized moderation team that span over a wide range of time zones to make sure there at least 3 moderators online at all times. Even then many posts will slip through the net left unreported. So here comes the ghost part. I have noticed that so many people do not report rule breaking posts. So I think a group of volunteers should be made who's job it is, is to be like the forum moderator assistants. These people do not have full forum permissions like moderators so they would not need to be 18+ nor would they need to work in a office. They would be normal Robloxians and every once in a while there would be a application forum for members to try and become one. Anyway mainly their job would be to make sure all rule breaking posts are reported. All new 'ghost moderators' or 'assistants' would only be able to do this but trusted ones get a little bit more permissions. Here is the idea. New Ghost Moderator: Can report Trusted Ghost Moderator: Can report Can send a post into moderation (this does not delete the post just removes it from public sight until a moderator deems it to be okay or for it to be deleted) Highly Respected Ghost Moderator: Can report Can send a post into moderation Can send a user into moderation (this means a spammer can be quickly dealt with by having all the posts unpublic and a moderator can then ban them and delete the posts) The reason they can only make a post hidden and not deleted is I'd like to see ,if this came to be something official on Roblox, normal members been part of it so having the permissions like this allows this to happen. When it comes to rewards it wouldn't matter. Maybe you could through a free badge, although you want to keep the ghost moderators anonymous to avoid flaming. Maybe they could get some extra tickets. Rewards don't matter. Believe me plenty of hard working volunteers can be found without any need for rewards.

This is actually great work experience if you think about it. I mean I've been moderating forums since I've 8 and it's taught me a lot of things. My spelling and grammar would not be as good. I wouldn't be able to switch into professional mode. This is a great way to bring education to Roblox.

I was not I've* The only downside I see in this idea is the moderators would have a little extra responsibility. Making sure the team was in order. I have a solution though. There should be a forum or group only for the ghost moderators. Every month there could be a roll call and unless someone has already declared they are going on holiday they will be kicked out the team if they don't reply within the given time. Also there would a be thread to report people who abuse their powers.

Thanks for your support. Regarding my grammar; yes it is not perfect but if I don't speed type and read over my post it can be of a high standard.

I caught on to the fact that there'd be volunteers and immediately saw the problem. The concept of volunteer mods was eradicated some time ago. and WNTS means What not to suggest, not that they support.

Now why not settle this matter. 'Make so-and-so a forum moderator.' Okay I understand this rule in the 'what not to suggest'. I have not said for example 'make Bob a mod, he's realllyy activeee!'. I've suggested for a team of volunteers to support the moderators but not be moderators. Ghost moderators was the first name I though of, that is all. They do not have moderator permissions.

I already do a bit of reporting here and there. I've joined the anti-phishing group, and this is a nice idea. Not having full powers is the key here. Hiring a 7 year old who bans at the word "Crud" is good. Lol. ~Vincent le kitty~

Well, I like the idea: Forums would be safer AND better, and with the "Ghost moderators" being able to have some control, not a lot, sounds good to me... I mean it's not like someone would be getting banned for saying "stupid" with this. But, for their rewards, how about a monthly reward of 50 R$ or so?
