Should I change archetype in Spore?

I'm a Knight, which gives me a Mini-U. I don't really like it though. I prefer Static Cling (Diplomat) because it is so satisfying when you EMP a homeworld and then take them over while they sit there doing nothing. I also want Return Ticket for the times I wander far from my homeworld, but Knight to Shaman is quite a jump. I tend to make allies a lot for some reason, and overuse the Monolith.

When I play Spore, I always get stuck with super-generic archetypes. Meaning I unfortunately can't help you here.

@TheAsassin Like Warrior, Shaman, or Trader? Warrior's Pirate Raid may seem funny, but is weak. Shaman's Return Ticket is a must-have for explorers. Trader's Cash Infusion is only good if you are beyond rich. Always seek to change archetype if you are Wanderer.
