Roblox should release this idea, the controllers can be:
XBOX:
Left Stick: Switches Gears.
DPAD= Makes your ROBLOXian move.
Right stick= Makes your camera move.
Left Bumper= Attacks with your gear
Left Trigger= Zooms In
Right Trigger= Zooms Out.
A= Jumps
PS3:
Keypad: Switches Gears.
Left Stick= Makes your ROBLOXian move.
Right stick= Makes your camera move.
L1= Attacks with your gear
L2= Zooms In
R2= Zooms Out.
Square = Jumps
Feel free to add any information about this, i dont mind if its a bad or good idea.

Roblox is meant to be played with a keyboard, how will a controller cope with additional controls in other games ?
Like pressing Y to start up an engine in a vehicle, or even F to fire a weapon on the vehicle ?
And you forgot what controls are going to replace left and right clicking. |

You can do it. I've done it with darksiders 2 on my computer. My friend helped me though. |

when you want to play on your controller, if they do release this kind of update (dont know), you can switch to your controller and play by connecting to it. |

you could still use the mouse and keyboard to open up games. |

This should be the key mapping for PS3 controller (I don't know Xbox):
L1= Right click
R1= Left click
L2/R2= Switch gear
L Analog= Move
R Analog= Move camera
Up/Down= Zoom in/out
X= Spacebar (JUMP)
O= Open full backpack
Triangle= Switchable key
Square= Switchable key
Left= Switchable key
Right= Switchable key
That way you have all the controls + 4 custom keys. |
