There should be an Drag and Drop scripting so everyone with no scripting skill could build game that is not full of free models. |
|
|
Kind of takes out effort, doesn't it?
I searched your brain on google, I got 404 Error-Not Found |

@nobbers12345
I insist on this taking out some effort on scripting so there will be less free model places.
@Ghost
Chaining "Aim hovering brick with mouse and moving it with keyboard" would not be easy. |

I actually support this. "It would take out effort." Wouldn't that mean, if scripting and other tools were easier to access, more people could make good games? |
|
|
support as long as old scripting is kept |

@Ghost
Where is "moving" part and "hovering" part? There is only "aim brick with mouse and push keyboard for no reason".
@everyone saying "Keep Lua scripting"
Yes, i want someone that don't know Lua to use Drag and Drop scripting to make at least OK games while more advanced users uses Lua scripting to make at least good games. |

Lua scripting is about as easy as it gets. If your too lazy to learn thats your problem. |

Title fix*
Somewhat justifiable as free models.
Plus this isn't scripting. |
|
|
@R3geBiscuit
Explain more please.
Also, don't mess titles. |
|

Free models is a drag and drop interface that has people scripting and developing models that are given out to be used by the public for free.
So this idea and free models are very similar.
Plus Roblox already have developed some materials that have scripting in them, people can wire up switches to hazards and other objects and this can be done through build mode using the stamper tool, Roblox have also developed "Templates" which covers almost all the scripting a basic game needs, all you'd need to do is to just build or edit tools. |

Free models aren't bad.
I have made places full of free models (See my place explicit. The code door, help bots, teleports, And oh so much more are free models.) and they are genuinely good. I'm not trying to be arrogant there. There _*ARE*_ people that like my games, as free modeled as they are.
It's not USING free models that make a game bad.
It's HOW that determines.
-So, yeah.
And also, r3ge just ninja'd me.
So... >:U |

"Where is "moving" part and "hovering" part? There is only "aim brick with mouse and push keyboard for no reason"."
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/LookVector --Move/hover + aim
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/Origin_(Property) --Get the mouse vector
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/KeyPressed_(Event) --Check which key is pressed to move it with the keyboard.
Okay.
