Tried to open one of my old maps then something went wrong.
All the bricks that didn't have any type of stud in it were totally white.
It seems that putting a mesh in them makes them visible, but if I go to another place that isn't mine the problem persists and it's really unplayable.
Solution? |

try updating your drivers or going to a test site installing roblox there and coming back and installing the real roblox
∁ is for ∁ow™ . |

Reinstalled roblox. My drivers are up to date.
The last time I played ROBLOX (6 months ago or so) I didn't have any problems.
I'll try changing some settings. |

I have fully uninstalled all Roblox-related files in my computer twice.
All my drivers are also currently up to date.
This all started after one of Roblox's updates. |

I have a problem near this one,
when one of my brick is smooth, it looks like a cube meshed brick. |

Bump. Still having this problem after sending a full report with pictures and everything.

There is a known issue that - as far as we know - only reproduces on Radeon 8500/9000/9100/9200. Basically, there seems to be a bug in the driver that new Roblox codepath accidentally triggers. AMD probably does not release driver updates for these cards any more.
The only currently known workaround is to switch to OpenGL mode - you can do it using Settings -> Rendering -> Graphics mode in Roblox Studio. It will also affect your player.

The latest drivers are from Nov. 15, 2006 so no hope.
I'll have to stick with OpenGL, I guess.
The only problem is that it's full of graphic glitches, but well, I can atleast play. |

There was actually a recent update to the 9200 Series Radeon Card. One of them forced my computer into 4-bit and low-resolution display. I had to manually uninstall the update to fix it.
I have heard of sqitching to Open GL, and I believe it made my compuer crash any time i started a game.
But i will try it again and post back.... Doubt i get any different results. |

Yeah, crashes hard, The moment I opened a game my computer shut down and restarted.
I don't think my car supports OpenGL, Atleast I can't find anything in conjunction with ATI or Radeon.
So, for me, the OpenGL method is not working. I will continue to search, but I don't think i should have to jump through hoops for someting Roblox had overlooked. |
