Sorry if the title appeared to be a troll to you guys, but i really needed to get people to see this.
Whenever i look at the comments of a gear item, especially a new one, its mostly just theese:
"GO HERE FOR LIFETIME OBC HACK WWWPOOTISDAWTCAWM"
"COPY AND PASTE OR A GHOST KILLS YOU"
"COME TO MY PLACE PLOX"
"PLOX PLOX PLOX PLOX PLOX"
Yeah...... Thats annoying, especially with older gears, because they dont give the stats of the weapon like all those newer ones do. You have to rely on the comments for those weapons ( Like the classic multi-colored limited katanas ). But the comments are DEAD.
Now, here is how to fix it. People who CORRECTLY report a piece of spam get a ticket. Limit of 5 tickets a day to prevent NBCs from being as rich as BC people by using bots to find spam. Because of the limit, its highly impractical to code a bot that can accurately find spam, and then start up the robot to do its 2 seconds of work (more with bad internet), then shut it down for the day when you can just go to a comments page and report a few things. To prevent false reporter noobs, penalties for false reporting are doubled and a notification is sent to all users that false reporting will not be tolerated. The way i see it, this has NO downsides at all and that i have all the angles covered. If you disagree with my suggestion, please explain why.
