You don't need a team to become successful. Sometimes it's a hinderance, such as what happened with the mod-Studio crew when trying to make their games.
Also, I don't usually say this often, but everything you said is pretty obvious. Of course if you owned a hotel, you would want to be the best in everything, depending on how much you charge your customers.
But ROBLOX games are not like hotels. You don't get 75$ every time someone visits your game. You get one ticket. It doesn't matter if your place is of low quality, or of high, everyone gets the same amount of tickets per place visit. That would definitely lower your motivation for making a good place. It's better to just get BC if you want money.
With a hotel, the better the hotel is, the more money you get from people visiting. Again, it's not the same way with places.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, your example is irrelevant.
