ROBLOX is likely to release an Android version for ROBLOX in some months. ________________________________________________________________________ Every Android phone is likely to get the ROBLOX App, but not all of the phones will actually be able to play a game. I'm a die hard Android fan, and I'll explain it to you all. *Requirements for the ROBLOX App* 1. A Screen of 3.5 Inches of Above. 2. Android 2.3(Gingerbread.) ■ A regular iPhone has a screen of 3.5 Inches, so if you own a phone that runs Gingerbread or above and has a screen the size of an iPhone or bigger the ROBLOX app will be compatible with your phone. ________________________________________________________________________ *Requirements for playing a Game* Well I'm extremely sorry but here comes the moment where many of you will feel heartbroken. The requirements for playing a ROBLOX will be: 1. Android 4.0 or above. ■ Android 4.0 has a higher API(Application Programming Level) level than Gingerbread and is more stable, however Gingerbread is on 50% of phones and Android 4.0 is on about 27.5% of phones. 2. A Graphics Processing Unit(GPU) of Mali 400 or Adreno 220 are the minimum. Any GPU that is below these two will not be likely to play ROBLOX, or atleast will not be able to enjoy it as smoothly. 3. 512 Mb of RAM or above. ■ ROBLOX needs quite some RAM to run, and any phones with less than 512 Mb of RAM will not be able to play ROBLOX games. 4. 800 MHz Processor. ■ Regardless of your phone being dual core or quad core, if your phone is 800 MHz or above you will be able to play games on ROBLOX, but a single core CPU may not run it very smootly, unless you have a very powerful single core CPU like the one found on Xperia Arc S which is clocked at 1.4 GHz single core. ________________________________________________________________________ If you bought a flagship phone of 2012 such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 or Xperia S, or HTC One X, Xperia T, Galaxy Nexus, LG Optimus G, your in luck because ROBLOX will be sure to work on these phones! If your planning on buying a 2013 phone such as the Droid DNA or Xperia Z, you'll be extremely happy to play ROBLOX on that Quad Core, Adreno 330 GPU, with a beautiful 440 PPI 5 Inch Screen, without any lag whatsoever! I wish you all luck in the future, and I myself own a Sony Xperia S, and I'm a die hard Android fan! :)

Some Extra stuff The Nexus S has the Samsung Exynos 3110 processor. This processor combines a 45 nm 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 based CPU core with a PowerVR SGX 540 GPU. The CPU core, code-named "Hummingbird", was co-developed by Samsung and Intrinsity.[7] The GPU, designed by Imagination Technologies, supports OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0 and is capable of up to 20 million triangles per second.[8][9]

Will it take alot of mb in my Iphone, I'm not sure because when I play ROBLOX on my computer it indicates high memory usage from up to 32Mb.

@123joe123 Yes it will work very smootly on your phone, provided you play on it after upgrading to Android 4.1 or above because Android 4.1 made the phone and apps smoother by Vsync timing(consistent 60 fps) and triple GPU buffering And your RAM will support ROBLOX. @Darkno57 What iPhone do you have?

Ok, so, what admin verified this? how in the world would you know what roblox will take on android? Also, it would run just fin on a single core processor. Do you not know the difference, and just posting specs you found online?

@smoozo4 Their are chances that you might be able to play ROBLOX, I'll explain. - 800 MHz Single Core Proccessor(good) - 3.5 Inches Display(good) - Adreno 200(outdated, but still fast enough) but sadly Android 2.3(bad) 320 x 480 pixels screen(bad) _____ Android 2.3 has a lower API level and is not as smooth as Android 4.0 and above, and 320 x 480 pixels resolution is called HVGA, and HVGA is a very low resolution to run 3D games. So the chances you'll get to play ROBLOX aren't a lot, but maybe, just maybe you might get it. ________________________________________________________________________ @SumoComputerMan I know how ROBLOX will take on Android because of the approach they took on iOS, and single core processors will run it fine, but many people report lag on their single core iPhone 4 which is clocked at 800 MHz. However if you own Xperia Arc S, which is 1.4 Ghz Single core, you'll probably be able to play it fine. iPod 4 did not get ROBLOX Games because it had only 256 Mb of RAM, and I've seen other online games like 'Shadowgun: Deadzone' and they don't run on 256 Mb of RAM, to run a 'high quality 3D online game' you need 512 Mb or more of RAM. Check your facts, and nothing I wrote in my thread was wrong.

I just asked an iPhone 4 owner how ROBLOX worked on his phone, he said it was too laggy. :/

Nothing is wrong in this post, as far as I can see, but it is all speculation. We won't know tech requirements until we actually have a working version of the app on android. I just hope everyone takes this thread with a grain of salt.
