around 13. I listened to it before then obviously, but only when it'd come on in the car. I didn't have any CD's or favroite artists/songs. I'd know a few songs but not who sung them, unless it was something really popular like Oops I Did it Again. Anyone else remember when they started getting into music?

I got a mp3 player for my birthday when I was like 7-9 or so and I asked my bro to put some music on there. A lot of oldie stuff but it got me into rock. I loved it. There was- Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Alice Cooper, Van Halen, etc. I didn't really like the heavy stuff until about 12ish. Then I started listening to rap and then other stuff, so now I basically like almost every genre but mostly hardcore rock.

I started listening to music when I was 10. Everything before that was just the music coming from my Pokemon game on my Gameboy.

Around 2008-2009 But it was not until a few months ago that I bought some albums (No need to buy them since there is no anti-piracy law here, but just for collection)

Usually someone would be listening to music when I was really young. (like 3-4) That would consist of mainly rap and alt. rock from that time.

In 2009 when I finished watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the song at the end really caught my attention. I did some research and I got hooked with Linkin Park. Then 3 Days Grace when I heared the song Break Away. Then Green Day, and now Shinedown, Eminem...

I listened to the Beatles and Eminem in my early years. Then I got spoiled and listened to pop. Happily, that phase is over and now I listen to almost every genre.

"11. I got into Nickelback." I'm ashamed to admit they were one of the first bands I got into as well. I thought I was so cool listening to Photograph lol... "2006. My sister got me into The All American Rejects" I liked them too O.o. I liked that song Move Along. Oh my god my taste has changed so much since then. ..................................... I was also really into Simple Plan. And I mean I REALLY liked them. I had every single one of their songs on my iPod. Even the unreleased ones. So glad that time in my life is over.

Around 9. I started to learn the names of artists on the radio. Eventually got into Eminem as my favorite. Then it changed, out of nowhere, and I've been into rock and metal ever since.

Pretty much the first artists I got really into was when I was in the dreaded emoish phase in my life. I wasn't really an emo, but I acted like one and hung around with all the emos.
