Currently, lots of people are using the bubble chat only option which is good at clan bases, so the enemy or visitors can't read what you're saying, but that's sometimes the problem, after you get too far away, you can't read what someones telling you to do, or they might be behind you giving you orders (Bend over :3), so, why not implement a speak chat, as in, you yourself don't talk, but roblox will take the words put into your chat bubble and then put them out as audio.
This would remove the fact that users have to use sight to see what someone's saying instead of hearing, however like I said before it would just be an option.
If a user uses "censored language", the word could be replaced with a "beep" noise( to be comical), or it could just be left out.
Issues-
If all users sounded the same, you wouldn't know who was talking
So
-Editable Voices (Pitch)
-It could get lower as the account ages(People who joined that day would be quite high)
Lots of people talking at once
So
-An adjustable proximity ( For game or for player?)
-Group only Voice chat (Hear only people on your team or in your group)
Not being able to hear someone further away
-Ability to "Shout/Yell" ( Reach further away players )
-Whole place shout ( Owner or VIP only ability?)
Being Able to hear someone
-Ability to whisper
Again, just an idea/suggestion,
Constructive criticism is needed, just don't expect me to reply to stupid things like "omg worst idea evr!"

ican, this isn't WNTS. He means when you type out, for example, 'I ate a hotdog' then it will play an audio which says 'I ate a hotdog'. Using a Microphone to say stuff is in the WNTS. This sounds like a GREAT idea! I love it!
It's possible. Start-Menu>Control Panel>Text to Speech (Vista/Windows) Not sure for anything else.

Support, it can be activated with the use of a button press, like V, just like in the Source Engine games. Microphones will probably have to be configured with Roblox in the account settings page also. |

The thing is that it will take long, and you can't understand robot audio good. Check Google Translater, You play the word "I ate hotdogeh", it will say it weird.

Worst idea ever not to be rude but
(1) This would get very annoying
(2) Its also dangerous because people could cuss and make bad noices further more into that parents will hear it and get teed
(3) It makes hacking/predators come in easily.
