I have a problem. I'm using Paint.NET to create transparent images, but they come out white instead. I don't know if this is the program or the website. I've tried a .png and a .jpg image, but they don't seem to work. |

You might have done something wrong. The lasso or the magic wand is usually used to make things transparent. If you were using layers, make sure they were all merged down. It's a high chance that Paint.Net was the problem. What's the image for, here on ROBLOX, clothing, other sites? |

Well, I use Paint.net, and this is one thing I have come across. Did you erase the parts you wanted transparent, or did you make them white? I make this mistake all too often. If so, just get the erase tool and erase the parts you want transparent. Hope this helps. |

@ChloeGloria I made this for clothing. It's happened on all of my new shirts, pants and T-Shirts. I also merged all of the layers down.
@Killmania628 I eraxed the parts to get it transparent. I used the magic wand, selected the area I wanted transparent, and used CTRL + X. I've never encountered this in the past. This is the first time. All of my past shirts and pants are transparent. I also used the erased too, but it still won't work. |

They should come out transparent. Maybe you have a layer behind it that is not. Try that. |

@TheAwesomenessDude I've done that. All of the layers that I want transparent are transparent. |

What tool do you use to try to make it transparent? |
|
invadaJoin Date: 2010-06-12 Post Count: 82 |
The magic wand. I always use it. |

Then what do you do? This is what you are supposed to do: Ctrl + Click > Edit > Cut. If that doesn't work, start using the eraser tool.

I used all of the transparency options. When using the magic wand, I normally do Click + CTRL + X. I tried the CTRL + Click > Edit > Cut one, but it's basically the same and doesn't work. |

Try to re-install paint.NET.

It worked! Thank you!
It's probably because I have had the same Paint.NET for about 6 months. |

Wait, no it didn't. It's because I was using another computer and installed Paint.NET, and it worked. (My shirt, Sevchenko2) but when I got back on here, uninstalled PDN and reinstalled PDN, it didn't work. (Sevchenko1) |
