1 - Update asset system to allow for a better marketplace.
- Market fee @ 30% is completely absurd. It forces people to hike prices to make profits and it's completely unfair. Lower to 15%.
- People should be allowed to own more than one of an item. For limiteds, this allows them to hoard the low prices and resell for huge profit; this will be necessary because of the huge supply of limiteds. This also allows players who already own a domino crown to quickly purchase a second one when some noob posts one for 4 robux. This also makes up for the MPF reduction because people will be buying more of the cool new hats. They will be buying more because...
- Unlimited hats and gear should go limited after 3 years, or when they go offsale. Unlimited packages, faces, and heads should go limited when they go offsale. This allows people to make profits off the hats they used to like when they had no taste in good hats. This would have exceptions for items that are available only through spending real money, like the Redsteel Ranger, to prevent people from holding onto their cash in expectation of the item going limited in a month.
2 - Update moderation resources
- Forum posts should never be deleted, only removed from public access. This allows moderators to go back and read the whole thread when someone appeals their ban.
- Each ban given because of ingame chat should have a chat log attached to it so the moderator can read through the entire conversation to make sure the player actually did misspell "shirt".
- Deleted content should be added to a log which is attached to the player's account. This way, moderators can see exactly how much of a rule breaker the player in question is.
- It should be impossible for a moderator to ban someone without a reason AND a reference to the objectionable content. One of my friends permanently lost their account because the moderator didn't put a reason or content, so the appeal system couldn't help.
Roblox should keep a log of ALL transactions. This allows them to completely reverse the path of an item in the event that someone breaks into your account and trades it away.
3 - Crack down on misleading games
- Games should only be allowed to change their thumbnail and names once per day. Games that do this every day for three or four days and get upwards of 500 visits per day should be automatically reported to a moderator. In addition, the creators would receive ONE LEGITIMATE WARNING, NOT A PM. PMs make it seem like "ok they dont like it so I'll reupload on another account and transfer funds". Warnings make them think "oh man, they really don't like this. I should stop.".
4 - Bring back GT1 and ST1 banners
- Lots of people don't even know they exist. When the devs decide to ship a new update, it should run through either GT1 or ST1 and a banner should be posted asking for experienced robloxians.
5 - Steamguard-esque system for verified accounts
- When a verified account logs in from a new IP, email them a 6-character code and have them enter it to add that IP to a list of trusted IPs for that account. This would destroy any "x hacked into my account" claims and improve the overall confidence in roblox's account security.
6 - Nerf guests
- Guests can currently be used to farm tickets and place visits and they can boost a terrible game to #1. They should not give tickets, should not add place visits, and should not count towards the "Players Online".
7 - Improve the general state of roblox's economy
- Since trading came in, selling items for robux has become one of the many things that you just don't do. This could be due to the fact that RAP does not include MPF, or it could be due to the fact that the entire RAP system is completely bogus. Either way it means that no one is making profit. To fix this, there can either be a trading nerf (the bad choice) or a selling boost (the good choice). Nerfing trading would mean it costs it costs money to trade. The right choice, the good choice, THE CHOICE THAT WILL MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, is to boost selling. We could, for example, have a TC extension where players can put in 100 robux and the TC would buy the most expensive limited item that costs 100 or less robux after MPF, then give the item and any leftover money to the buyer.
- The entire system for selling limited items should be redone. Players should be able to post offers on an item's page and post what they're requesting for it as well. For the offers, it should act exactly like a trade except anyone can view the offer and anyone can accept it, provided they have the requested items and/or robux. Also, when asking for a LU item, players should be able to ask for a specific number or range of numbers. There should be a way to search offers (e.g., I own a JJ5x5 and want a Darkseed, so I search the Darkseed requests to see if anyone is asking for a JJ5x5). The offers should be sorted by highest RAP yield, and the requests should be sorted by lowest RAP yield.
- Allow players to sell their limited item to roblox for the current RAP, minus MPF. Projected items would become not-so-projected and cheap, common items would become more valuable than they originally were.
- With the high number of hats out there and my suggestion of 3 yr old hats going limited, people will constantly find themselves with more hats than cash. It would be cool if we could use hats as currency around the site, like for creating game passes or badges. Additionally, people could sell VIP shirts or game passes for, for example, hats where RAP ≥ 500 R$.
8 - The trading system as a whole should be updated
- Allow players to trade one item for the exact same item; there is currently no way of swapping LU IDs.
- Allow players to ask for and offer, for example, "Any hat where RAP ≥ 500 R$" or "Any item where RAP ≤ 300 R$" in place of a regular item. The person on the receiving end decides which items of the specified asset are traded. This allows trades to be performed more quickly because the two players are not having to constantly send different offers and requests back and forth. Coupled with the offer/request limited system I mentioned in point 7, this allows players to ask for items as direct payment instead of robux, which would be lost to MPF. It also greatly increases the chances of players owning the items necessary to complete the trade.
9 - Improve, enhance, and expand the PM system
- Allow players to directly send items, tix, or robux as an attachment to a PM. Either this or allow trading to take place when only one person puts something up. Of course MPF would apply to currency that's transferred this way. This destroys the need for donation shirts and allows people to donate items.
- Allow groups to send invitations directly to a player's inbox. This would create a much more formal way of asking someone to join your superclan. Optimally, the invitation would have "Accept" and "Decline" buttons and an attached rank that would be given to the player if they accepted.
- Allow groups to send PMs directly to a member's inbox. This does not make the shout redundant because shouts are given to all players and they appear in feed. This is useful when you only want two or three members to show up to your yard party where you play fight with toothpick swords. My point is that, if you invite the entire group, there's always gonna be that one guy that goes "But we don't even have teeth".
- Allow players and groups to send mass PMs, where the recipient is multiple people who are chosen from the senders friend list or member list. All the recipients should be able to see who else the PM was sent to.
10 - Update the forums
- The forums badly need updates. The way they currently are reminds me of cave paintings. S&I should have a thumbing system because thumbing is easier than replying. Scripters should have a whitelist because they're an elitist and cannibalistic faction that absolutely hates everything that moves with a burning fury which rivals that of the sun.
- We should be able to edit our own posts and everyone should be able to see the original of an edited post. The pros being that people can edit a post for clarity. There are no cons because this is a good idea.
- REMOVE THE POPULARITY STAR
- Add a rep system where users can thumb posts (not the same as thumbing suggestions). This should replace the top poster system. If it doesn't, fix the top poster system.
- Associate forum accounts with UserIds, not usernames. People can hijack the post count and join dates of users who had their names changed by creating a new account with the user's old name.
tl;dr: Post support because these are good ideas.
If you don't support any of the ideas, please tell why. |

It's so high because of inflation. We need to get rid of Robux. Also, if we allow multiple of one hat to be owned, then one person will own all of a hat and keep them to himself.
#2 - Agree
#3 - Agree, I guess.
#4
They're gone? I never noticed. Huh. Well, support, haha.

"Also, if we allow multiple of one hat to be owned, then one person will own all of a hat and keep them to himself."
That's the idea. It works because there are literally thousands of hats.
@All the people who said "Support for #1"; is there a reason you don't support the others? |
|

But then nobody else can get it. And that would be rude, ESPECIALLY to people that actually want to use it as a hat instead of reselling for profit. Hats aren't stocks. |

"Hats aren't stocks"
But that's the entire idea behind the limited system. Maybe just prevent people from buying multiples of unlimited hats? For limiteds, there's always gonna be those 50 guys on the last page selling for 999B. |

LOL for misspelling "shirt" forum posts are only deleted if they are trolls really :l Mebbe the misbehavior log is a good idea. Ikr, one of my alts got his account shut down for posting a support post to a forum :l. Noway, WAY to many things happen on Roblox.

30% MPF is fair? I mean, it is an opinion, but most people would not consider 30% MPF to be fair.
"They are doing this already..... :l"
No, they aren't.
"Umm no. Just dont play front page games :l"
Them being on the front page isn't the problem. Them getting more recognition than they deserve is. I, as an individual, can not directly determine how popular bad games are.
"......Spaming/alt abuse......"
Of course there would be options in the account page, just like there are now, to restrict these to friends, best friends, and no one.
"Lolz No."
I try to come up with good ideas, and a lot of times they are. Sometimes they aren't, and when they aren't it would be very helpful if you would tell me why they aren't instead of just saying "no". |

Games are currently allowed to change their thumbnails as many times as they want. Players with misleading games get a PM, not a warning. Additionally, only one mod has even bothered to take on this responsibility. |
