If the Threads where Unlocked before, and a Flamewar happens, Moderators cant always lock it. Why cant the Owner have the rights to lock/unlock His thread himself? ------------------------------------------- To moderators: You can Disable this on a user, so then they cant Lock and Unlock the thread, When you lock it. But thats only when you lock the thread, Officially, as a Moderator (not me, Im reffering to moderators).

Indeed, but you should also be able to delete you're post too so everybody could forget about it.

If we allowed people to lock their own threads, I could see a fad similar to F5ing happening where forums would be filled with locked threads for absolutely no reason.

But what about Epic`s idea, Deleteing the thread, like the user can delete it?
